Where to start. They managed to keep my holding deposit for "referencing" which was done very poorly. In fact, they themselves asked the third party to turn me down (that's what the third party said to me when I spoke to them on the phone). They contacted the accountant directly instead of going through the accountant's firm (she was on her honey moon). They never let me know what was going on. Had to chase them constantly until they told me three weeks down the line that they couldn't move forward and just decided to keep the “holding” deposit. Although the agent that made the viewing did say the “holding” deposit wouldn't be kept if anything went wrong. I also never signed any document agreeing to any terms concerning the “holding” deposit but they're still hanging onto it. They have now threatened to call the police and have me arrested in two distinct emails (when they're the ones robbing me ! What arrogance !), have pressured me into taking my review away to get my deposit back ! (Is that blackmail?) And now that I’ve refused to be blackmailed I have had no news from them and my bank account hasn’t either ! ;) They even openly admitted to have had people arrested over the years in another email. Everything was made so they could keep the holding/referencing fee and I'm guessing that's how they make a living. By scamming people. If they don't do the references properly, well they just get to keep the money and there's nothing you can do about it. Easy money for them and this is disgusting behaviour especially in times of crisis like we are all living at the moment. There is no other word : DISGUSTING ! For some inexplicable reason (but luckily for me), the agent that organised the viewing never had me sign a consent form and my lawyers are now moving on to them as I'm writing these lines. And I’ve also had to pay a retainer for the procedure but at the end of the day they will be paying for it so I can live with that. If you wish to live a nightmare, feel free to contact them. Again especially during these difficult times. They have wasted my time, tried to rob me and have tried to make me look like a bully calling my review slander. I would never take some much time to write a review if it wasn't true and 100% accurate. If you want a true professional service, go and see a company that has at least over 100 reviews like all the other agents have.... Read more

We were so pleased with the help we received from The Mobile Agents. We honestly thought, given all the COVID restrictions, our house sale would not complete in the timeframe we had in order to move to our already committed property. The team at The Mobile Agents did everything they could from bringing proceedable purchasers to view and, when we did get the offer acceptable to both sides, they recommended solicitors who they chased to exchange and completion so we weren't disappointed. The whole team went that extra mile, under very trying circumstances, but in particular Nancy herself took the bull by the horns to get us the result we needed. Thank you very much.... Read more

Is the company still trading? There is a house in Over Alderley that we have been trying to view. We ring the number, and we either get cut off after 3 rings or it goes through to answer phone that isn’t manned. We don’t live in the area and came into Prestbury to view a similar property. We found a home in Over Alderley, looked up the agent, could not get through on the phone so thought we’d call by instead. First annoying issue was mobile agents came up in Wilmslow on a Google search. We ended up at a mobile phones shop. Secondly we ended up in a village the other side of Macclesfield to find no shop. We looked up the company with The Property Ombudsman to see the address in the village is the registered address for the company, but it’s very obviously not a shop, but in fact a house that someone is living in! We happened to mention to our daughter our frustrations, and she offered to see if she could find out more, as although she lives in Wilmslow, she also had never heard of them. She provided us the address in Alderley and took us over. When we got to the shop, it was pitch black. No answer on the phone again, and no staff in sight. We looked at the homes in the window and very quickly spotted the home we wanted to see. Our daughter offered to look into this for us, she got the shop up on her phone and showed us the house on her phone along with the other homes in the window. My daughter made us aware that this company had not been in business since before Christmas, as no more homes have been put on to rightmove since December and all the homes on the website are either sold or the same as the window and lots of them are from mid 2020. We were very disappointed as we have sold our home in Surrey and want to be closer to our daughter. We then went into the two realtors on the other side, Nowell and Gascoines, where we met with further uncertainty on the state of the phone agents, when I asked one of them what they thought I should do about the home I want to see, they took my husbands name and number and advised they would visit the home and speak to the owner and let us know if they are happy for us to view. Seems that this phone agent has done a midnight run and no one seems to know what’s going on!... Read more
