Thoroughly professional from quotation to completion. Lee spent time and shared his recommendations during his survey visit, and submitted a competitive tender. The standard and quality of the team on site was exemplary, and we relied on their expertise and experience to make the finished installation perfect for our needs, relying heavily on Lee's knowledge to enhance our original vision of the landscaping. We were kept well informed throughout and were able to agree changes along the way that improved the outcome. In addition the recent social distancing regime was imposed during their undertaking, and they were very mindful of the risks, were completely self sufficient, needed no access to the house, and brought their own food and drink. They were tidy, considerate and unfailingly polite at all times. Highly recommended! We are extremely pleased with our new patios and pathways.... Read more

Booked Lee in March after him giving a very competitive quote for landscape work on our very untidy garden. We chose him as he had ideas that other companies had not mentioned and really seemed to get what we were wanting to achieve. Work started Mid July (he does have a long wait list but to me its the sign of a good company) from day one i found Lee and his team (Lewis and Simon) to be fantastic they were really hard working and pleasant to have around, arrived on site on time every day and put in a full days work. They were very respectful of our home and pets and made sure the work area was kept clutter free and that we could still access our garden whilst work was taking place. I decided to change the colour of the sandstone i wanted the day before it was due to be laid after discussions with Lee (who had advised he felt the colour i had originally chosen may not be suitable for my garden) he was absolutely correct and i am so glad i changed my mind as the new sandstone he helped us choose looks amazing. We also tweaked the design slightly as we went along which was no problem and they checked every step of the way that we were happy with progress. I am very impressed with the work that the team carried out, it has turned our tired old garden into something we are really pleased with and i would use them again. The price we quoted was the price we paid and i think we got really good value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend CGM Landscapes to anyone.... Read more

Lee was referred to me by a good friend who had used him earlier in the year and was pleased with the outcome of the work done by him and his team at CGM. We had moved into a house that we bought via auction, it had been empty for a number of years and the garden neglected for many years prior. So we basically needed the whole thing re-lanscaping from top to bottom. We must have had between 6 and 8 quotes for the works to be done, but Lee an CGM stood out above the rest. Lee was very visionary and full of ideas about how to make the most of the space we had whilst also being mindful of our budget. He was very friendly, but above all else, knowledgable. You could tell he had years of experience behind him. We initially saw Lee in March 2019 and appointed him by the first week in April and already then he had a 9 week waiting list. We didn't mind this though as this was a sign of a good tradesman and the garden would still be done for summer. Lee kept us updated each day, he text each morning to say when they would be arriving and outlined their plans for the day. Lee and his team are hard workers, they graft but have a laugh along the way also. What three men achieved in just two weeks was amazing, and we weren't dissapointed with the end product. If anything needed to change or Lee had another idea to share with us he would always call and seek approval before doing anything. The price he quoted was the price we paid, and he didn't ask for any money upfront. Infact it was only until they had completed almost the first full week before he asked for an initial installment, with one more to follow the week after and then a final balance payment once work was complete and we were happy with it. Yet again another sign if a trustworthy tradesman. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lee and CGM Landscapes. Hard working, high quality finish for a very competitive price. But be prepared to wait, they are very very busy, but it will be worth it. Thanks Lee and team for a great job.... Read more

We first met Lee from CGM Landscapes when he came to give us a a quote to transform our muddy and mossy back garden into something we could use and enjoy. We didn't really have a clear idea of what we wanted exactly, but Lee spent at least an hour with us on this first meeting talking through ideas and was honest about the most cost effective methods, we decided on a rough idea to be finalised nearer the time. Lee went away to work on the quote, which he came back to us with very quickly, and we thought it was very reasonable for the amount of work that we felt needed to be done. Lee remained in contact with us from then on to answer any questions we had and even brought us samples of materials to help us choose what colours to go with for the paving and what sort of artificial grass to pick. He was very honest in his recommendations when we asked for his opinion and didn't simply just recommend the most expensive materials or options which I have found to be the case in the past with some tradesmen. Work began and I was extremely surprised by how quickly things started to take shape, we were constantly kept in the picture about how and when thing would happened and continually asked if we were happy with various elements and how exactly we wanted them. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble even when very close to the end of the project we changed something which required more work to be done last minute. They were extremely tidy workers and cleaned up every day when they had done for that day, and took away all their rubbish and garden waste when the project was complete, they even planted up the plants we had bought to add to our boarders for us before they left. Overall we are beyond delighted with our new garden and cant wait to spend the summer using it. We cant rate Lee and his team highly enough and would not hesitate to reccomend them to any one....
