Thoroughly professional from quotation to completion. Lee spent time and shared his recommendations during his survey visit, and submitted a competitive tender. The standard and quality of the team on site was exemplary, and we relied on their expertise and experience to make the finished installation perfect for our needs, relying heavily on Lee's knowledge to enhance our original vision of the landscaping. We were kept well informed throughout and were able to agree changes along the way that improved the outcome. In addition the recent social distancing regime was imposed during their undertaking, and they were very mindful of the risks, were completely self sufficient, needed no access to the house, and brought their own food and drink. Booked Lee in March after him giving a very competitive quote for landscape work on our very untidy garden. We chose him as he had ideas that other companies had not mentioned and really seemed to get what we were wanting to achieve. Work started Mid July (he does have a long wait list but to me its the sign of a good company) from day one i found Lee and his team (Lewis and Simon) to be fantastic they were really hard working and pleasant to have around, arrived on site on time every day and put in a full days work. They were very respectful of our home and pets and made sure the work area was kept clutter free and that we could still access our garden whilst work was taking place. I decided to change the colour of the sandstone i wanted the day before it was due to be laid after discussions with Lee (who had advised he felt the colour i had originally chosen may not be suitable for my garden) he was absolutely correct and i am so glad i changed my mind as the new sandstone he helped us choose looks amazing. We also tweaked the design slightly as we went along which was no problem and they checked every step of the way that we were happy with progress. I am very impressed with the work that the team carried out, it has turned our tired old garden into something we are really pleased with and i would use them again. The price we quoted was the price we paid and i think we got really good value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend CGM Landscapes to anyone.... Read more

Lee was referred to me by a good friend who had used him earlier in the year and was pleased with the outcome of the work done by him and his team at CGM. We had moved into a house that we bought via auction, it had been empty for a number of years and the garden neglected for many years prior. So we basically needed the whole thing re-lanscaping from top to bottom. We must have had between 6 and 8 quotes for the works to be done, but Lee an CGM stood out above the rest. Lee was very visionary and full of ideas about how to make the most of the space we had whilst also being mindful of our budget. He was very friendly, but above all else, knowledgable. You could tell he had years of experience behind him. We initially saw Lee in March 2019 and appointed him by the first week in April and already then he had a 9 week waiting list. We didn't mind this though as this was a sign of a good tradesman and the garden would still be done for summer. Lee kept us updated each day, he text each morning to say when they would be arriving and outlined their plans for the day. Lee and his team are hard workers, they graft but have a laugh along the way also. What three men achieved in just two weeks was amazing, and we weren't dissapointed with the end product. If anything needed to change or Lee had another idea to share with us he would always call and seek approval before doing anything. The price he quoted was the price we paid, and he didn't ask for any money upfront. Infact it was only until they had completed almost the first full week before he asked for an initial installment, with one more to follow the week after and then a final balance payment once work was complete and we were happy with it. Yet again another sign if a trustworthy tradesman. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lee and CGM Landscapes. Hard working, high quality finish for a very competitive price. But be prepared to wait, they are very very busy, but it will be worth it. Thanks Lee and team for a great job.... Read more

We first met Lee from CGM Landscapes when he came to give us a a quote to transform our muddy and mossy back garden into something we could use and enjoy. We didn't really have a clear idea of what we wanted exactly, but Lee spent at least an hour with us on this first meeting talking through ideas and was honest about the most cost effective methods, we decided on a rough idea to be finalised nearer the time. Lee went away to work on the quote, which he came back to us with very quickly, and we thought it was very reasonable for the amount of work that we felt needed to be done. Lee remained in contact with us from then on to answer any questions we had and even brought us samples of materials to help us choose what colours to go with for the paving and what sort of artificial grass to pick. He was very honest in his recommendations when we asked for his opinion and didn't simply just recommend the most expensive materials or options which I have found to be the case in the past with some tradesmen. Work began and I was extremely surprised by how quickly things started to take shape, we were constantly kept in the picture about how and when thing would happened and continually asked if we were happy with various elements and how exactly we wanted them. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble even when very close to the end of the project we changed something which required more work to be done last minute. They were extremely tidy workers and cleaned up every day when they had done for that day, and took away all their rubbish and garden waste when the project was complete, they even planted up the plants we had bought to add to our boarders for us before they left. Overall we are beyond delighted with our new garden and cant wait to spend the summer using it. We cant rate Lee and his team highly enough and would not hesitate to reccomend them to any one.... Having approached several companies to renew my drive, patio and path Lee was the most professional by demonstrating knowledge ,expertise and pride in his work. I soon realised I had definitely made the right choice because Lee, Dave and Lewis provided a Rolls-Royce service to a very high standard of workmanship. From start to finish they arrived on time and kept me in touch with the work showing not only skill but patience and kindness as well. There customer care skills were evident by ensuring safe access for me to my property at all times and double checking my own and neighbouring windows were closed whilst stone cutting was ongoing. They moved forty -tons of concrete in the hottest day of the year so far and renewed a blocked paved drive. Worked tirelessly to transform a sitting area into a beautiful patio for myself , friends and family to enjoy as well as a safe and unique path for access. The work was completed ahead of time specified and all of the team were very accommodating, easy to talk to and extremely helpful . Review of Garden Redesign by CGM Landscapes Comprising of: New Terrace, Synthetic Lawn, Raised Rockery bed, Widened Steps & Colour changing Mood Lighting After many months of careful research, and drafting we finally arrived at our chosen design. We then approached several companies with our design proposal, eventually settling on CGM Landscaping. Right from the outset we felt very comfortable with Lee’s approach; he was genuinely interested in listening to and developing our own ideas. He is clearly a very talented landscaper with a great deal of experience and guidance to offer. We both felt very confident that Lee and his team could deliver our dream garden. His quotation which arrived quickly seemed very fair and reasonable for the amount of work required and also took account of our budget limitations. Once we had assigned the project to CGM, Lee was in regular communication, sending us numerous pictures and samples of materials to help ensure that the final choices we made would work well and complement the scheme. We were also impressed by Lee’s attitude to obstacles, he only sees solutions. Lee’s team arrived on the first day and what a nice bunch of guys; They were a real pleasure to have on site, friendly, helpful and very hardworking, even in the face of significant snow falls. As the project progressed and we got to know them, it actually felt like having family and friends working with us. Just like Lee, they kept us completely in the loop with all important decisions and choices and would ask for our opinion before proceeding. As the project evolved the team were also able to contribute their ideas on areas such as the most effective placement of mood lighting. The end result was everything we had imagined and much more. We are not just satisfied; we are absolutely delighted with the final result and the overall quality and finish, but not only that, the project was also delivered within the specified timeframe despite adverse weather conditions and within the financial limits of the agreed budget. In summary: We are very proud of our new outdoor living space and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending CGM Landscapes to deliver your project and have already asked Lee to quote for further work on other areas of our property.... First Class Job by a Hard Working Team We wanted our drive and front garden transformed into something that looked good but required less maintenance as the existing area was both worn and tired looking. Lee and his hard working team were able to suggest and advise on the best way forward based around our ideas. They achieved this by removing the concrete drive, old conifers and garden path, installing a new block paving drive, completely re-designing, landscaping and re-turfing the front lawn area. They created a raised rockery area and several small beds and helped us choose a variety of suitable plants and shrubs. We now have a much more attractive and easier to maintain garden. The team were professional, pleasant and helpful, working through some very challenging November weather. We are delighted with the outcome and would definitely use them again in the future....
