Never again with these. Hope you’re not in a hurry if you go with Blundells. Excuses and lies from them. First of all they’ll tell you to use their recommended solicitors as it cuts out the middle man and keeps everything in house so it gets completed quicker. Oh and the price they tell you for the solicitors lol nearly triple.(Don’t get me started on the solicitors). Then you have to drip feed every bit of information they need. They ask you for information or proof of something, you then provide it, a week later they ask you for something else. They can’t just give you a list of things you need to provide, no that would be silly wouldn’t it. It’s drip feed and then drip feed some more. Stay away if you want to keep your sanity.

My house sale was extremely lengthy & the on-line conveyancing process was a nightmare, but the staff at Blundells kept me sane. I often felt they were the only people on my side. Nathan was always available, supportive and willing to find out what was happening. When he left, Debbie stepped in and was very proactive giving me regular updates in a friendly way. She was always on the ball & responded quickly to queries. Both staff had great people skills. I’d happily use Blundells again.

Cannot thank Blundells enough in the handling of my mums home. From the initial meeting, then photography and finally the advertisement - it all went so smoothly and professionally. Had continuous updates about viewings by email and texts from both Nathan & Debbie, so I knew exactly what was happening regarding the views and offers. From start to finish took longer than expected but still superb considering the current climate and Xmas & New Year in the middle of the whole scenario and of course Covid-19 too. Even the Face To Face Meetings went easily too when it was necessary to have to meet up. So the home is now been sold by this super team of gals n guys - well done all of you.

I cant praise Debbie enough. The sale was a bit of nightmare, having been cancelled on the day, stuff in storage, multiple promises on completion and chain issues and the possibility of a pull out; Debbie at blundells was extremely helpful with getting all the solicitors aligned. Constantly providing me with updates constantly chasing for updates from the chains above and getting the cogs going. As we all know solicitors (not my solicitor I would just like to add the chains above) can be frustratingly dosile and useless at times. I was just extremely glad Debbie was compassionate with my situation of not having a home; warm, welcome and there to go the extra mile. Hands up to their service!

We cannot recommend Bundells, @ Chapeltown, enough to sell your home.
Scott Jenkins came and valued our house and discussed selling in a pandemic. Scott reassured us that Bundells had many safety measures in place, for viewings, for our safety.
Our particular sale was a difficult one, (not because of Blundells), but Kirsten Cameron was always on hand with advice, support and reassurance from beginning to end.
We also spoke to other members in the team and each person was always helpful, polite and professional.

Debbie and Kirsten did an excellent job selling my house it sold within a few days of going on the market only for the buyer to pull out six weeks later they informed my immediately and put the house straight back on the market and it sold again within days, I then had problems contacting my solicitor so Debbie pulled out all the stops and got the sale completed for me I can’t thank her enough. OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH BLUNDELLS WAS VERY AVERAGE
The Branch Manager was very poor indeed and does his profession no good what so ever. He was never up to speed on the progress with our property, 99% of the time he did not return our phone calls. He would not listen to any other point of view other than his own and always gave an impression that he had no time for you, and on some occasions was borderline rude !!
It was always difficult to get someone to pick up the phone, especially in the branch. Appreciate they were busy but it still gives a bad impression. The staff at the office were of varying effectiveness and they obviously did not communicate well between each other as they were often not up to date with progress.
One particular office member (Deborah) however was excellent and held the "show" together. She always did what she said she would do and always returned our calls; and was very effective in communications with potential buyers and solicitors etc. When she was absent, we as the client had to do far more digging to find out progress.
Despite waiting since our sale completed on 26/11/2020, we have received no thankyou for our business from Blundells, not even from head office. We are appalled by this as they received well in excess of £2k from us in sales fees. APPALLING AFTER SALES SERVICE and SHOCKING BAD PRACTICE. They take their clients for granted which we do not appreciate.
Overall, WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Blundells over any other agent out there.

We moved house on 1st of October and due to the pandemic and some bad luck it took a long time for us to get our move. We didn’t choose blundells as our estate agent, the house we bought was sold by blundells. I wasn’t very impressed with some of the service from our solicitor etc but whenever we needed to get an update, blundells were very proactive in telling us. If we ever had a query they were extremely helpful and responded very quickly despite the issues with the pandemic. Despite us not being their direct customer, I felt that all of the ladies at blundells Chapeltown were excellent and if we choose to move house again will choose them to help us. We are in the process of selling my late mother's house and the service provided by Blundells, Chapeltown has been excellent. From the initial positive valuation by Hollie Fletcher, to the photographer visit and then the marketing and viewing process all have been first class. Nathan Bailey and especially Kirsten Cameron have called me on many occasions to inform me of how the viewings went and then guided me through the final bids in order to make an informative decision on which one to accept. Kirsten has been very friendly and supportive in this difficult time and nothing has been too much trouble. I know I can contact her whenever I need assistance during the remainder of the sales process. I would certainly recommend Blundells, Chapeltown to sell a house in the future as it has taken only 12 days from the house being put on the market to being sold subject to contract which is amazing in the present climate. The 5 stars award is definitely well deserved.

I had an appointment for a valuation off this branch. The appointment had been booked for over a week. Today on the same day of the appointment i received a voicemail this morning around 11am and was asked to get in touch with Scott and left a contact number. I then phoned at 11.37 am, 12.13 pm, 13.03 pm and 13.36 pm only to reach an answer machine on every call i made to which i didn't leave a message. I then eventually received another call off Scott at 14.12 pm to notify me that my appointment in less than 2 hours at 4pm was being cancelled. This compromised other plans that i had put on hold and could not re plan due to such late notification. The cancellation could have been left on the 1st voicemail at 10.59 am instead of trying to call numerous times to no avail and eventually being let down in the 2 hours prior to an appointment made over a week ago. Upon being told of the appointment cancellation and asked to reschedule off Scott i replied that i didn't want to reschedule with an estate agent that cannot answer their phone calls and wouldn't trust an estate agent to sell my home as they cannot be reached after numerous calls at different times and ended the call. I was left feeling angry, let down but also very thankful that my house wasn't on their books for sale and even more thankful that i had not given this incompetent estate agents a single penny of my money.

First time buyer. A bit nervous and not sure who to trust. After finding the house we wanted I then got passed to Julian Sobey (Mortgage Consultant) for Countrywide who works in the branch. Absolutely perfect service. Was told what I could borrow from the banks in my financial situation & now have a Mortgage application in place. No hard sell of any personal insurances as well which I was warned about, just honest service. If you are currently debating to buy a property I would recommend booking an appointment and speaking with Julian to see what your options are.
Also the Agency themselves Kirsten was very helpful. Ringing me up to get me a viewing for a house which at first I wasn't in any hurry to view but thanks to Kirsten I was prompted to go look before I got into a bidding war with 2 other people and potentially lost out I managed to be accepted with my offer.
Me & my Wife have had a crazy year with a new born baby so this was exactly what we both needed.

Well where do we start with this amazing guy- Julian Sobey?!!
We was first time buyers and we went to view a property on the 3rd of august 2019, the lady that met us at the property recommended Julian from countrywide mortgage services to help us through the mortgage process and insurances. We then went to see Julian on the 5th of august 2019 and by the 10th of august we had a mortgage in place and had bought our first home!!
It’s been a very long process since august and if it wasn’t for Julian being very persistent and chasing solicitors we wouldn’t be where we are now. He kept us updated via emails, phone calls and text messages the whole way through (even when he was on holiday).
All I can say is that we highly recommend first time buyers to use Julian, he puts your mind at ease and makes the whole process stress free. I was heavily pregnant through buying our first home and we couldn’t have done it without this guy!

Julian at Blundells made our experience of moving house seem simple! From the minute we got chatting on the phone through to the completion he made life so much easier.... not an easy task when moving house.
He was always on hand to offer advice and guidance but more impressively the speed at which he did so meant things moved along much faster!
If you want someone to take the pressure off and find you the best deals available then Julian is your man!

Sam at the Chapeltown branch is truly amazing and by far the best at handling tough situations; especially when there are problematic and difficult vendors! Calm and collected, efficient and totally on point. I purely make my recommendation based on my interactions with Sam who should be a manager!

Mortgage Consultant Julian Sobey has been super throughout the service. He explained my options to me very well and was very patient which was nice as I take time to come to decisions. He was extremely prompt with every communication and kept me updated throughout the whole process so you are never left wondering what's going on. He even managed to see me when I was 45 minutes late for an appointment. You don't get that kind of service just anywhere. I won't hesitate to call upon him again.

Matt Wood dealt with our mortgage. He is a dishonest man who can not be trusted! He blatantly lied to us saying we would get a 50% discount on completion to stop us looking at deals elsewhere. He said completion fees would be waivered, and then took the money from our bank account anyway and pretended to know nothing about it!

Sold our house in October through Blundells Chapeltown and have to say they did an excellent job. They knew we were renovating our new property before we moved so needed someone who would be in a position to wait for us so only sent through people to view who were in that position (which saved lot of time wasting). We had 7 viewings in 5 days and all put offers in between the price guide.
The staff were all great and always came back to us straight away if they were dealing with another client when I phoned particularly Julie Patrick who kept us up to date on everything throughout the process.
We used their mortgage advisor to obtain our mortgage and their solicitors Countrywide conveyancing to keep everything under one roof which was great as communication with each department ran smooth.
Thanks again for everything would definitely recommend.
