They advertised a house on Barkby Road in Wincobank, which had a defective title due to a missing leasehold title. I then found out the seller had divided the land at the side and rear as they lived on the adjoining road (which the seller kindly never informed me). Haybrook Chapeltown then had the audacity to call me when they relisted the property apparently after the seller sorted the title issue (I bought my house at this point). Looking on Rightmove seems like some poor soul has agreed to purchase this property as it's now showing as sold STC hopefully their solicitors carry out due diligence. £1,100 spent on a survey and solicitor fees but a bullet dodged gladly nonetheless....
