Awful service. Agreed a viewing, then proceeded to ignore all emails and multiple calls to no answer. Drove an hour and a half (3hour round trip) to view the property any to find on my first question which was ignored multiple times over email, that it wouldn't work for us.... Read more

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I passed all the reference checks and they refused to rent me the property for a shitty reason, "amount of moves in the past 6 momths" - I lived in houseshares and was in vacation, so moved 2 times. They took ages to perform the tenancy checks and request my documents, each time I sent what they wanted they took days to check them and request more. When the tenancy checks were completed, they told me they would ask the landlord approval, which took over a week for them to get back to my with this stupid "amount of moves in the past 6 months" reason to reject my tenancy. I do not recomend trying to rent with them, because they will waste your time, hold your money for a long period with the deposit, and then reject you for whatever reason they want.... Read more

The worst company / scam artists, I've ever met. Started off alright, said the house would be available in 2 weeks, 2 months later told us needed another month gave up at this point and found a better agency, but wanted our Deposit back at this point I was calling everyday, they blocked my numbers and never responded to our emails, told us obvious lies. Eventually reported them to Liverpool council as a scam company, and threated housing court, mysteriously received our deposit back next day. Wish I had taken them to court.... Read more

Do not use this company, shocking customer service, constantly told when you call the main number oh i dont know this is the maintenace office.. been trying to get my £100 holding fee back for 3 weeks now, fobbed off everytime, told to email accounts have done twice, no response, not had one phone call or email throughout this whole process! Seriously never know a company like this... houses you view are also in an shocking state to what is advertised.... Read more

Agree with previous reviews that this company lacks competence, lacks common courtesy and are unfriendly, cold and rude. Had a number of problems with them "missing" rental payments, emails not responded to, no apology when they had clearly made mistakes. Their fees are inflated given the poor service. I can't recommend them for landlords and doubt they are any better with tenants. The owners will probably say this is a "fake or malicious review" but I assure you it's genuine. They are delusional if they think they are good letting agents and any good reviews are likely to be the fake ones. They are the opposite of good and have a bad attitude... Read more

I have never received such a lack of competence or poor customer service from a company in my life. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENTS. The utter lack of professionalism and duty of care Tyrer and Hart have demonstrated by refusing to return owed money (until legal bodies were involved) and leaving tenants in inhabitable conditions. Paul and Heather at Tyrer and Hart consistently do not reply to emails or answer phone calls even when the matter is of high urgency. Tyrer and Hart have breached the signed contract on several occasions with no apologies or care. They have been an embarrassment to deal with from start to finish and I strongly implore anyone who is thinking of renting property from them or using their services to look elsewhere.... Read more

I used this letting agent when I first moved to Liverpool, I was offered a property and misinformed about the costs to move in. This resulted with me having to gather the money on the same day or risk the property being let out again. When something in the house needed fixing I would dread contacting them because of their poor customer service and unresponsiveness. My neighbours also had problems with their properties too and shared the same experience as myself. The final straw was when I checked online and found that they’d auctioned our home without informing us, they weren’t obliged to as a company but it reiterated my beliefs in their professional values. I am very glad I have nothing more to do with them.... Read more

Such a shame you cant give 0 stars! Think VERY carefully about the positive reviews on here.. *fake* often having only left 1 review ???? Worst experience of my life, huge effect on my university experience, caused serious anxiety and issues with my mental health. I cannot stress how horrific they are. I will happily share any stories of going without gas or electricity or about rat infestations, etc. with anyone who wants more info. Be wise people.. avoid like the plague!!... Read more

The most unfriendly and unprofessional place I ever been they lied a lot to me they never answered the phone in a month time they almost left me homeless they rejected my application considering that I meet all the requirements better than their tenants who are mostly people coming with fake pay slips and pretending that there will be living only one person and afterwards the house it's full of people kids and pets.. I never seen more stupid people.. one of the most disappointing experience in my life. Plus one thing I want to add them ladies on the office there been very nasty accusing me of being a criminal being racist with me even when I'm white and their tenants are gipsys.like I've said I never seen such a stupidity in one place. They haven't gived me the 20£ pounds back for the credit check. This place should be shut down soonest possible. Scammer and liars.... Read more

I have been dealing with this company for over a year to assist me with the management of a number of my properties in Liverpool. I have been a landlord for a number of years and have had negative experiences with other lettings agents and problematic tenants. Since coming to Tyrer&Hart I have had no problems and only excellent personal service. They perform stringent checks before accepting tenants which is such a reassurance for landlords. Keep up the good work, for the first time in years I do not have any concerns about my properties as I am confident they are in safe hands.... Read more
