I bought a house through this branch last year and found the experience very smooth and easy. The property had only been listed for an hour or two but they were still able to get me in that day for a viewing. David handled the sale and I found the communication with him very good, he quickly passed on queries to the owner and got back to me straight away. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We sold our property with Entwhistle green old swan and I have to say the overall experience was a positive one, the sales team where very responsive throughout the sale ..We also secured our mortgage with Dan Williams the mortgage adviser on site who is part of countrywide , I have to say Dan was amazing in how quickly he got things sorted and kept me up to date on progress of my purchase and supported at the last hurdle for us to get the sale completed on the day I wanted ... I did not have a positive experience in trying to sell my property with Entwistle Green (Old Swan) They gave an impressive sales pitch but failed to deliver on all of their promises. The list could go on but here are just a few of the issues I experienced:
1. I had a number of potential buyers contact me directly as they were unable to get through to the agent.
2. The viewings that I was present for consisted of a gentleman letting the prospective buyers into the house and waiting around whilst they looked round. No attempt at providing any information about the house.
3. I was advised that all potential buyers would be financially checked before any viewings took place. I found this was not the case after an offer had been made.
4. I had to constantly chase to receive any kind of feedback from the viewings.
5. The scheduled viewings would often not take place as they failed to confirm the viewings on the day with the potential buyer.

I ended up instructing another agent (Hunters) after 3 months. Hunters were absolutely amazing. They got my property sold, making sure I didn't miss out on my dream property. Hunters kept me fully informed and every viewing carried out by Leah Connor turned into offer.

We bought a house from one of their clients. They didn't seem very interested in selling to us, at one point didn't tell us that an offer had been accepted. When I went in the office to enquire they looked at me as if I was an alien, often taking 2 to 3 minutes to acknowledge my presence. Although our seller signed the standard form saying they would leave the property in good order, it was full if rubbish and filthy, when we informed them, they said they couldn't do anything. Makes me wonder if they sell anything. They just cant be bothered

I would highly recommend the Lancaster team for the professional way in which they guided us through the sale of our house. Ryan immediately gave us confidence at the valuation meeting and then Kim and Kristina sensitively liaised between all parties and managed to keep it all on track. They were easy to get hold of and kept us up to date at all times. It felt like we were in 'safe hands'.

Called and arranged to get a valuation done on our property. Received a text message and a letter in the post as confirmation. Later that week (couple of days before the valuation) Mark rang in the evening and said someone in the office had 'double booked' us (although I'm not sure how because computer systems are made to avoid such mishaps). Anyway, this completely and utterly inconvenienced us as we were hoping for a quick sale and its not great if you can't even get the first step right. Called and politely explained the above to someone in the branch who kept interrupting me as though she did not have time to hear how the branch's service could be improved for future customers (hence me reluctantly having to leave a negative review). Farrell Heyworth have been much more professional.
