Landlord/estate agent have refused to fix the damages for a number of years now (see images). Extensive mould, no heating, bathroom ceiling with a massive hole, slugs, electrical issues & more. 2 year old has been suffering since birth with many medical professionals stating the condition of the house is the cause. Estate agents are irresponsive and irresponsible - they have breached many rules and regulations and I would highly advise not using this estate agent as both a landlord and a tenant. I am a Landlord and I know them for just about 2 years and there are great, professional and skillful people. Who knows what they are doing. I have given them all of my properties one by one and they have maintained all my properties and always paid my rent before time into my account. **AVOID** These people do not care about your property. My partner was recommended to use Maylone/UBS, in Manor Park, to let out our property and I left her to it. The contract was basic and easy enough for a child to understand. When it came to handing our home back to us, we were absolutely disgusted in the condition the tenants had left it. Mould in almost every room and the bathroom was in an even worse condition with thick, yellow grime along the base of the toilet and grouting covered in black (it was originally white), carpet stained - every room had a problem. Maylone made many broken promises to restore the house back to the original condition and sided with the tenants renting out our property rather than us. I got involved and formally wrote to them with an extensive list of damages and they didn't like the fact that I was being formal. In fact, we were threatened that they'll get 'nasty' because I was prepared to take legal action. After waiting months for them to fulfil their contract (handing back the property in the condition it was let out in) my partner found a trusted builder to carry out the much needed work our house needed. I wish I had followed my gut and gone taken legal action. If you truly love your home/property, PLEASE do not use Maylone UBS in Manor Park. They are not professional in any shape nor form.... Would highly advice STAYING AWAY from these landlords. I have recently moved out of one of their properties after a two year tenancy that was a constant struggle with maintenance never being completed on time. It would often take weeks (in the winter) to fix the heating, and since moving out they are illegally holding my deposit (it has been 10 weeks since we moved). For the manner in which they do business I would give them 1 star purely for the fact that they have a high street location you can go to if all else fails. This kind of accountability is a highlight for me in an experience that is otherwise underlined with a mix of crookery, incompetence and recently, disdain. DO NOT USE THESE LOT.... Read more
