The Kumon teaching/learning method is very different to the methods I came across in the past. It focuses on building a very thorough and solid foundation which is needed for performing more complex mathematical tasks. I now appreciate how much value there is in a quick ability to add, subtract and multiply. It takes longer than I thought for children to become confident with these three skills but those three skills make more complex maths easy. We have joined Bexley Kumon learning for few years. Both my younger sister and myself have enjoyed ourselves on learning Math and English with Shain. I have to say this is great place to learn on Math and English, with the professional guidance and kind help from Shain and her team, I managed to have passed 11+ and received offer from the school I targeted to join. This is all dedicated to Shain and her team, the effective communication on both way, listening to us and keep tracking on our progress on a weekly basis, I have improved myself on knowledge learning and problem solving. My daughter does both the Maths and English classes. The improvements are so obvious and helped to built daughter’s confidence. Lot’s of help and support from centre manager Shain. I would highly recommend Kumon as a great education provider.... Read more

I have been taking both my children to kumon for the past 7 years and I am absolutely convinced that thier confidence in both Maths and English is down to the help and support that they both receive from attending kumon sessions. As a teacher of Maths in a secondary setting, I believe that the ability to master the foundation topics required for GCSE is definately covered in the subject and will help them greatly as they get older. Shain, the leader, is also very passionate about what she is doing and this is reflected in her willingness to go above and beyond for her students. She has been a consistent source of support to us for the past 7 years and I am eternally grateful and very pleased with what my children have achieved so far on this journey ....... Read more

My two boys have been doing Kumon English and Maths since year 2 ,one of them is in year 6 and the other in year 9. It is the best thing i ever did to enroll for Kumon. Kumon taught them speed and accuracy, they have transferred those skills into other subjects and they are always on top of their class in every subject. Kumon has been EXCELLENT in helping my younger son prepare for his Pretest and ended up securing a place at one of the best/top/famous independent schools in the country. I would honestly highly recommend Kumon, because the skills/knowledge learnt stays with you forever. Thanks very much Shaine!!!... Read more

My daughter started Kumon at Bexleyheath and guided by Shaine, within a few weeks she was much quicker and better still more accutate at doing various calculations including fractions and complex division. This was a pleasant surprise as I expected results to show much later. She said she feels more confident that and completes her work and checks it faster than before. She is now off to secondary school and plans to keep going. Im happy to recommend this course to anyone.... Read more

My son has been attending Kumon Bexleyheath for almost 3 years. During this time, his Maths has significantly improved, catapulting him from Set 3 of 5 sets to the top set. His confidence has grown so much so, that just yesterday during a Maths lesson, he was asked by his teacher to share the method for expanding brackets ((taught by Shain at Kumon) with his class. His teacher was so impressed with the method which he described as 'systematic' he asked my son to demonstrate the method in front of his whole class on the board. His teacher has fully endorsed this method and has now called it the 'Mr Brown' method. My son's surname is Brown. I would highly recommend this particular Kumon Centre (we've tried a few), as Shain and her colleagues are so dedicated in getting the best out of every student. My son is currently in Yr 10 at school and was graded a level 7 following school exams he did just after Christmas .Thank you Shain for all you have done/are doing for Karl!... Read more

I think KUMON Particularly the one carried out at townley girls bexleyheath does and continues to have an extremely poitive effect on our 2 children. They have grown in confidence with their work and enjoy attending. The instructor are encouraging and attentive to the children. We would highly recommend then.... Read more

Highly recommend this centre. I have used this centre since my first child was in Nursery and he is in year 8 in Dartford grammar.I cannot tell you how much kumon has helped both my kids in both maths and english.Fully recommend Kumon.... Read more

My two children attend the Kumon centre at Townley on Saturday morning for Maths and English. Since joining last year, the have significantly improved in both subjects. I have seen the children growing in confidence using the Kumon method and have move up maths groups and reading levels at school. Friendly and well organised kummon centre.... Read more

I recommend this classes. My both girls attend it and I am very happy with the results they achieve. My 5 year old started to read quicker and is more confident in maths. My second daughter,8 year old is much quicker in maths and calculations. Staff is helpful and very nice. Shain, the lady who runs this classes, is ready to help anytime. I think she runs it smoothly and without unnecessary stress for kids and parents as well.... Read more
