Acorn was extremely accomodating with me. They were prompt, friendly, and smooth to deal with. I especially enjoyed my communications with Louie who took client care to the next level. You do not find so many genuinely nice people all around in these field these days but he was an absolute star!
I inquired for 2 properties online which I was hoping to source to 2 good investors who were looking for properties to house their contractors for a 6month-1 year project and they were able to accomodate me respectfully. I appreciate how kind Louie was to me and my sister. Not to mention, Vicky who accompanied us in the viewing was patient and lovely despite we came in 15mins late due to train delays. It was one of the loveliest viewing I have ever had!
I write this review despite the fact I was not able to secure a property with them due to that they informed me last minute they do not entertain company lets ???? because I want others to know that they have gained my respect for treating me respectfully not just a person, a client, but also a deal sourcer.
For those who do not know, a deal sourcer is one who takes their time and effort to view and negotiate wonderful properties for investors who are looking to not just help landlords in the management in their property, but also to grow their own portfolios. As a deal sourcer, I can tell you, a lot of agents turn sour or rude to you once you inquire but that was not the case for Acorn.
I appreciated how I was treated and feel they will lift the same respect and promptness to their clients as they extended to me. Thanks for the viewing Vicky! And most of all thank you, Louie for being grand! I was looking forward to doing business with your company for a long time but glad to part with a kind note!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Louis in the bexleyheath office, This is my first time renting a property and don’t have much understanding of how the process works which louis then explained to me about the process giving a much better understanding. i Had an enquiry about a property i was interested in but unfortunately for me it was no longer available. Louis took the time on the phone with me to help me find a suitable place that i could possibly be interested in and went above and beyond by giving me calls whenever there was a new place available, keeping me in loop. Extremely happy with the service provided by Acorn Bexleyheath. This review is slightly overdue but we have been enjoying our home so much that I only now had time to sit down and write it.
We contacted Acorn for a valuation of our property and received a pleasant surprise with a higher than expected valuation provided by Jake Blackman. Of four agents visiting, Jake was the only agent not only matching but surpassing our expectations. We decided to see if they could deliver and viewings were arranged with Shemron Mark, who secured us an offer above minimum asking price after two viewings. What followed was an equally great service from Shem, who accompanied the entire sale process to a satisfactory completion, pushing where needed to ensure all progressed. Parallel to our sale, Jake was also able to find us our dream home, on which we had an offer accepted before our property for sale was even on the market. This was a lovely bit of magic on his end, which definitely helped seal the deal, as all agents had assured us we would not be able to secure viewings before having accepted an offer. Something we were not very comfortable with.
Two months from moving in, I can safely say going woth Acorn was the best decision we could make.

Excellent individual agents, namely Shemron Mark, but I do not rate the Hoowla app or the Sales Progressor who was allocated to us. Terrible communications and slow updating of the app from this person. That aside, overall, Acorn gave a good service from the first meeting with Jake who I found very professional, through the process with Shem dealing with our buyer who was quite awkward at times through to the exchange then completion. Recommended company but not app.

I am really disappointed about the service.i arranged to viewing with them for a property and officially accepted my offer. I have done the anti money laundering check they requested.following day i received a email saying another customer made higher offer than me from different acron office. After officially accepting my offer nearly more than one week i started all my paperwork .
I have spent lot of time and money for this. So i didn't have much options but to ask to match the other customer offer. I didn't get any a response for two days.then i received a call saying they will speak to the seller.later get a disappointing call saying they will moving with the new customer. Despite my offer being accepted, critical issues arose, including the discovery of an illegal extension with an asbestos roof, which made the property ineligible for a mortgage. What can I say? Matt King was an absolute gem! He worked tirelessly to ensure the exchange on our property in some tricky circumstances. I could not be more than happy using Acorn to sell my house. I received
an offer just on one view from a serious buyer.
Matt King was God sent, I just cant imagine what I would have been
able to do without him.
Matt took all processes involved professionally and the supports was just
more than what I could have paid for.

Matt at Acorn sold my house despite all the mess that Covid caused! To include awkward buyers, incompetent solicitors and rude agents, Matt dealt with all these people and problems with ease! I am certain without Matt and the Acorn team my house would remain unsold for months! Thanks Matt. I will say though I had some dealings with Jake at the start and would not recommend him at all but Matt is a definate yes.

We have had a terrible experience with this branch.
The negotiator we dealt with (Daniel) passed us from pillar to post, often ignored any correspondence, and strung us along right up to the day of moving.
After moving in, Acorn have allowed our landlord to breach the terms signed to on 3 counts and have made no effort to do anything about this, leaving us in a situation with no access to part of the property and now we have had to pay for storage elsewhere due to this.
Would not deal with Acorn again. An absolute shambles from start to finish.

Cain Knight was so welcoming when he showed me round a property. He acted very professional when speaking about the property and went into great detail. I was very nervous about viewing the property as past experiences haven’t been great as I’m on DSS and most places wasn’t wiling to help me. Cain however was so helpful and didn’t judge me at all, as I felt other letting agents did. He went above and beyond to help. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much again Cain

we saw a bungalow listed on Rightmove, handled by Acorn, which was in our price bracket and fulfilled our needs. Acorn were able to arrange a viewing just as the coronavirus emergency was beginning. We put in an immediate offer which was accepted but then went into lockdown so everything went on hold. However once restrictions lifted, and Matt took over our purchase, everything was handled well. Matt kept us informed of everything as it happened, and was reassuring when we appeared to hit snags. He was unfailingly polite and friendly and we really appreciated all he did

Thank you Daniel! We are in the process of renting through Acorn Bexleyheath and it's all going really well. Wouldn't have found the house we wanted without Daniel's knowledge (we were initially supposed to see a different house that came off the market a day before) and support. Really professional and helpful team, you can actually talk to them on the phone (unlike other agencies that I think give out a fake contact number that no one ever answers) and they are very receptive to what the client is looking for. Slightly late in posting this review, but feel as though I have to say that buying a house through Acorn was difficult to say the least. Jake, who was their sales manager was rude and sarcastic, and would often avoid contact with myself or my wife to stop himself having to give us bad news, and would often send younger less experienced staff down to meet us at the property. The purchase did go through in the end, but I would never recommend using acorn estates to anyone, much better estate agents available in the area.

After you rent the property, they pass you to the management and here it starts your stress.
The management is really bad. They actually looks like they don't care about clients.,about your issues with the property..Actually you are on your own!

I would happily recommend Acorn to anyone looking to buy/sell a house - they have been excellent!
Before using Acorn I naively thought that Estate Agents simply found a buyer for a house....but even after securing the sale, Acorn worked incredibly hard managing the whole sale process, liaising with all parties and solicitors to ensure the sale progressed in a timely manner and without a hitch.
I have been thoroughly impressed with Matt and Jake’s professional and friendly approach. 100% recommend.

I have just completed the sale of my property through Acorn estate agents, Bexleyheath branch.
The service I received from the first visit by Jake to the day of completion was first class.
In the initial visit, Jake explained the procedure and options, the publicity and pricing. I had all ready met several other local estate agents but knew quite quickly that I wanted to go with Acorn.
Once appointed to sell my property, they didn’t disappoint at any point in the sale. I liked the fact that they followed instructions as given, were aware that I worked shifts and i felt confident in the branch team to pass on messages and show clients around my property when I couldn’t attend.
Hayley and Jake worked tirelessly to chase solicitors, the landlord and management company to keep the sale progressing smoothly, as the sale was leasehold (notoriously slow and difficult) and we also had 4 parties and their solicitors to contend with.
I was updated with progress on a regular basis and advised how I could speed things up if log jams arose.
They were in contact constantly, with the different parties, so each person knew they were aware they were the next obstacle to progressing the sale and Jake and Hayley managed to achieve results by building professional but friendly contacts with all the parties involved.
I have to say that before this I viewed all estate agents much the same and not very highly either, but selling with Acorn, Bexleyheath has shown me they are not all alike. Acorn were professional but genuine, working efficiently and informative without being a nuisance or annoying.
I have all ready recommended Acorn to friends and that has been the same all the way through this process. I would not hesitate to use them again.

It was not the easiest of houses to sell as it was in need of updating. We didn't live in the area and had to rely on Acorn carrying out all the viewings and selling the house without us being at hand.
