I have rented from them twice when we were located in Bournemouth. On both occasions excellent customer service and overall very easy and reliable experiences.
Dealt with Martin and Savas throughout the process of each and would hands down recommend this place as the best letting agent in the area.
Being based overseas most of the year I really wanted an agent I could trust to manage my flat. 4 years and 3 tenancy's later there has never been a vacant period, the rents always bean paid on time with a statement e-mailed to me monthly, an inspection report comes through every 3 months with photos, so I can see how its lived in and any issues have been sorted very quickly at competitive prices. I really couldn't ask for any more from them.
If I get the money together to buy more investment properties, I have 100% trust that Avenue would do a wonderful job, as they always have.
Independent. Friendly and a pleasure to deal with - not like any other agent
We have rented a property with foxes for 3 years and sad to say it will most likely be our last. Every problem that we have reported has basically been ignored by an employee called Les Baker. Extremely unhappy and I would never recommend this company.
Mike and James have been incredibly helpful and communicative in relation to our purchase, letting and subsequent sale of a flat in Bournemouth. Their level of expertise gave me great confidence in the company and they were both very easy to work with. Genuinely nice people. Thank you.
Worst agency i ever faced with! Once you get a property from them, they will always try to avoid dealing with any problems occuring after. After moving in we realised that the fridge was full of mold and the sink was leaking. It took them one week to change the fridge for us. As a result we had to throw away all out food we brought with us and eat in take-aways for the whole week. Electricity bills were inadequate at the beginning and we had to search for a compromise to reduce the sums for 2 months. Old carpets had secret life inside them, namely carpet beetles. They were biting me for over a month - that's how long it took them to call Pest Control to stop that nightmare. They were never willing to help unless threatened with complaining about their service. They might be a good agency for landlords but definitely not when it comes to tenants. I advice to stay away from Christopher Shaw.
The whole process I feel couldn’t have gone smoother. I was dealing with a young man called Daniel Cobb and he made everything feel both welcome and smooth, plus the communication skills were worth the five stars in itself. I would recommend to a friend.
Takes a long time for any of my issues to be resolved-waited 6 months for a car parking space and still have not received my fob for this.
We had a very professional experience from start to finish. Gail Prince was exemplary and nothing was ever too much trouble. She was always available to help. We would highly recommend Gail and Martin & Co Estate Agents to anyone in the future. Excellent and friendly service .
I usually don’t like to write a review. I own a business and don’t like when people are complaining unreasonable, But my experience with Martin & Co made me write one. I was in a 12 month tenancy agreement and i wanted to move out from the property before the end of my tenancy,. I was happy to pay the release fee which was £360. I paid the fee and they had 5 months time to relet the property. They put it on the market, they had lots of viewings ( more than 20). But they didn’t give it to anyone, why? My tenancy agreement ended 5 months after paying the release fee. The flat was let by another letting agency straight after I left it. So i was charged £360 for nothing and they put me in a stressful situation. My only concern is why they couldn’t let it again in that long time while the other agency did it within 2 weeks for the same price.
BE AWARE !!!
