Very poor for letting landlord properties. The management department failed to deal with issues to the property. Staff come and go and always a new person that needs to be brought up to speed. Landlords pay letting agents to help and in this instance I felt they were an unnecessary middle man making the problems worse and should have been paying me. Communication was so poor. Definitely poorer for using them.

We recently had a valuation on our property, and out of all the other agents that came round it was Connells who spent the longest with me going through the different options. I felt that they had a really good knowledge of the current market, and that their pricing was realistic. They were professional, and trustworthy and would have no hesitation in recommending Connells Southbourne to anyone!

Avoid like the plague.
I rented a flat from this firm, and they have a clause where you are immediately signed up to Ovo as an energy provider. In my case the landlord had requested them not to, but someone in Connells contacted Ovo and signed me up anyway. It was nigh on impossible to cancel this, and in the end I had to stick with unhelpful Ovo and their high prices. Connells offered no help to rectify their mistake, and were evasive and unfriendly, making inaccurate claims. It seems all they care about is their commission, and then they wash their hands of you. Dealing with them is difficult because they are a big firm and you might be sent round the houses – to head office in Wigan or wherever it is - rather than your local branch.
I will never deal with Connells again. Other estate agents are available.

I can't recommend enough the mortgage department and sales team. Chloe worked extremely quickly and efficiently on my remortgage and Rio valued, marketed and sold (accepted an offer at full asking) my place in just over three weeks! The team made everything so simple and easy for me and they were just a delight to work with in general. Zero hassle and I got the best offer compared to other mortgage companies and fantastic sales rates. Thank you all. I will be using you again in the future.

We instructed the sales team at Connells, Southbourne to sell our home this year. And in just 2 months of marketing we had 3 offers and are now sale agreed at the asking price. The team have been amazing!
Rio valued our property, Anthony and Holly have done all the viewings and Angela keeps us well up to date with any admin needed to keep things moving along. We have had a poor experience when buying the property with another agent that has now closed and these guys really put our mind at rest as first time sellers. I would definitely recommend this friendly and professional team.

Initially Connells supported me in letting my property before going on to sell it. Throughout the relationship Connells were incredibly professional and always responded to any of my queries in a timely fashion. I also consider their services to be great value for money. I’d like to give particular praise to Rio. She is personable, knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile. 10/10 - would recommend.
