Tried to enquire about a flat recently that was online and merely told that that there was a lot of interest in this specific property and that they did not have the keys to take people to view this at the moment. Told to enquire online and no reply, clear they have probably reserved this property for a client on there books. But as I am begining to find out a lot of estate agents don't really care about any level of service provided because they are to busy and see you as an inconvience.

A happy customer. I began my journey with Taylor Made in 2011, purchasing a flat from them. In 2015 I relocated for work and had 7 years of help from them with regards to letting the property, with very few empty periods.
Upon deciding to sell the flat this year John was extremely helpful, offering advice on what needed updating in the property to make it ready for sale.
We had a buyer for the property within days of it being listed, at the full asking price.

Mandy, our letting agent, has been great throughout. We had alot of questions when we first moved in. Mandy has always replied to our emails within the day.
We had a small issue with our shower recently and Mandy arranged a plumber within days and the shower is now fixed.

I wish we could only give them 0 stars, they seem great for buyers but for tenants they are just awful. I have been helping a family member with a handful of issues with this place and lack of professionalism they hold. They speak to you like dirt and think they can get away with it, sadly we will fight until the bitter end. Please stay away because they are just so awful and there are so many better places to be your letting agent besides these cowboys!

We have some issues after the purchase and they have been a little bit rude with us, they changed completely after they got the money, we are so disappointed about this. In order to get the free voucher we need to give a good review so we did, but after we had the issue we feel disappointed about the service.
Literally they told us: “move to another place”.
Just be careful what do you do and make sure everything is in completely order, you won’t have any help after you pay.

SAVE YOURSELVES THE STRESS AND GO ELSEWHERE!!
I wouldn't recommend anyone looking to rent a property to use Taylor Made. They seem very shady and all a bunch of liars.
After I seen an advert for a property which clearly stated 'Pets allowed' I called to arrange a viewing, whilst on the phone I asked again, just to be sure that this property did allow a dog as I have been looking for over 6 months and constantly being told no pets. I was advised again that the landlord for this property didn't have any problems with a dog. I told the agent showing me around that I have a dog too (again to be sure), she was a different lady to the one I had arranged the viewing with. Again she advised a dog is fine.
I liked the property so decided to take it. They were quick enough to rush me up to the office to take my holding deposit the same day, to which I was advised that the holding deposit would ensure they would stop doing viewings on that property and would save it for me. We agreed a moving date of the 1st May.
3 days later I got a call from the agency to advise the Landlord wanted money sooner than the 1st May so asked if I could move in sooner. They said if I couldn't they would have to continue arranging viewings and will have to offer it to another person. I had already given my notice at my current place and booked time off work to move on the 1st May, but I called around to make all the changes needed to move in earlier, to which I was successful.
That same day I went into the agency to hand in some documents and asked if I could show my partner the property as he hadn't seen it yet. The agent agreed to meet us at the property in 10 mins so myself, my partner and the dog walked down to meet the agent. When I walked in she asked 'Did you tell me you had a dog?', to which I was shocked as I had mention the dog 3 or 4 times to various agents 3 days earlier and on the phone before booking the original viewing. I also put it on the paper work!
Turns out from there, all of a sudden the landlord 'apparently' said 'no dogs'. Seems to me like that agents took one look at the dog and then decided they didn't want it living there. We left the dog in the garden whilst looking around and he didn't make a sound bless him, was good as gold. I feel like because he is a Mini Bull Terrier they discriminated against the breed, surprise surprise! If it was a chihuahua I'm sure it would have been fine. They said the landlord had just put down new carpets and advised they were more thinking of a small cat when they said 'pets are fine' which I thought was a load of rubbish as they had already said that a dog was ok, plus I thought that's what the deposit was for? My dog has never ripped up a carpet in his life so why all of a sudden they are worried about the carpets I don't know. I even told the agent the dog is crate trained and sleeps in the crate. I work from home too (Pre Covid) so the dog wouldn't be left alone in a carpeted room, which again the agent knew as she asked me. I guess it's a blessing in disguise really as I don't want to be associated with horrible people like that who discriminate against a dogs breed. Just as bad as a racist comment if you ask me. Just RUDE!
Long story short- This agency is full of a load of rubbish and just likes wasting peoples time, sending them on wild goose chases changing agreed plans with current landlords and employers, taking their money and then disappointing them.

As I write this we are one day away from completing on a house purchase through Tailor Made. We have predominantly dealt with John Stein throughout this. We have found John to be polite, respectful and a reasonable person to work with.
He was able to listen and help us through some later negotiating. We believe he acted neutrally and without bias, ultimately aiming to get a sensible, agreeable result for all concerned.

Don't go anywhere else. A totally professional organisation from top to bottom. Dan, and especially John, give exceptional personal service. Speedy and decisive with any problems, whether buying or renting you will find their advice in all areas, deadly accurate, successful, and in YOUR interest.

This Company is dreadful - Advertise properties for lettings in their window that have been let months before - when questioned they say that it is for display only and they need to fill a window space - They are trying to ride on the back of a perfect agency called Taylor Made (50 years selling in Sandbanks) These Companies are not related. The staff are dismissive and slightly aggressive this has been learned from the owner John Stein who is quite oblivious to clients needs and not prepared to have a measured conversation just shouts a lot. Making enquiries locally in Southbourne they have a very poor reputation even on the sales side. Having John Stein anywhere near people is like putting a shark in charge of a swimming pool. Only my opinion of course but do look at some very poor reviews here and some very sad replies to them, not an apology in sight.

When my integrated fridge/freezer packed up, Taylor Made deemed it acceptable to install a cheaper replacement in the middle of my living room! More concerned with representing a penny-pinching landlord than delivering a courteous service. They also took over £400 from my deposit for wear and tear issues. I didn't have the time and energy to dispute this. An average lettings agent who are good for locating somewhere to live, but that's it. Thankfully, I no longer have to use a lettings agent!

Very positive experience working with Ross at Taylor Made. I bought a flat through them, and Ross was a very good estate agent. He showed me great properties, not all of them on the market yet, and persuaded me to see the flat I eventually bought even though I wasn't sure it was suitable. He has subsequently helped me to find tradespeople since moving in. I'd definitely recommend them.

(2018 Update: While mistakes are still being made, customer service is much improved recently. The company appear to be making an effort to improve their attitude towards both landlord and client.)
Delivered a contract to the wrong address, failed to inform the tenant that they had been succesful in their application for a property until the day before they moved in. Emailed the tenant incorrect bank account details for a £1500 transfer. Used a completely inaccurate email address to contact the tenant, despite the email address being used correctly on previous occasions. Were generally poor or argumentative when communicating with both landlord and tenant, who were both dissatisfied with service received. Avoid at all costs.
