Anna has been absolutely fantastic in helping me get a home for me and my two year old son. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her. She is professional, kind and will go above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly. She is a real asset to William H Brown. Thank you for all of your help!
Tried to sell my property with this estate agent with no luck. Switched to another estate agent and the person who bought the flat said they had tried to book a viewing on it previously with William H Brown and were told our property had sold already. Waste of time.
From Aaron’s first valuation visit to the final telephone call from Samantha on completion of the sale of our house we have had exceptional service from Knightsbridge Estate Agents. We were kept informed at every stage of the selling process and truly felt as though our best interests were at the centre. Thank you to everyone at the Clarendon Park Rd branch; you have been amazing.
I am sorry to be blunt but I need to share my experience. I have lived in big cities like London, Birmingham, Leeds and in towns like Nuneaton but I would say this has been my worst experience so far with Knightsbridge estate agents. I made an offer on a property in Leicester and even after 8 weeks of accepting the offer, they didn't produce the memorandum of sale despite scrutinizing all the details more than a lender! We had to even request for confirmation of offer acceptance. They probably would have provided better service if I had chosen to go with their own mortgage advisor as they would not only have gotten a good amount of fee from me but also a commission from the lender. I would have appreciated a little patience given that I was buying my first property in the UK. The only point I would like to say to vendors is please avoid this agent as they could really put buyers off! (I didn't want to give even 1 star but that was mandatory for the post)
Belvoir always give me great service, I can always rely on them to communicate with me quickly and efficiently. They have managed my property for about 7 years.
Terrible service! Unhelpful, rude and refuse to accept the mistakes made by themselves. Seems like no one knows what they're doing and always have to "get back to you" with the answer, which is never done.
We live overseas and fully depend on Nicol to manage our property and the tenants. We've always found Nicol to be professional and prompt in replying to our questions. Nicol has gone above and beyond our expectations and even sorted out decorating and insurance claims while the property was not rented out (and therefore not generating any income for FW or us). We would not hesitate to recommend using FW for renting out your property.
The worst agency ever. Bunch of theives. They didn't give me back my deposit and stuff was already broken in my room before i moved in. They also gave false advertisement. They ignore your emails and they aren't helpful at all! They don't even have emergency numbers. I wouldn't recommend this etate agency.
Best in The business, i have been to and from many estate agents in the county and have had none as efficient as Barkers, Scott and the team have been great and done everything i have asked for!
DO NOT USE!
I recently rented a property from Barkers out of sheer desperation, as I was moving from London and had 1 day to view properties. I went into the office and they helpfully arranged a couple of quick viewings that day, to which I was grateful and had to choose 1 property. Had I had more time to look around I perhaps would not have selected the property that I did. After moving into the property, mould started to grow in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room.
I reported this to Barkers and they did get a damp surveyor round who informed me that the walls were not properly insulated and the whole property needed to be done. Barkers got this report and then went on to get another surveyor in who basically said the same thing. At this point I was still living in these conditions but they proceeded to get a further damp surveyor in who seemed to say something different and more aligned to what they wanted to hear, which I found unusual.
Barkers finally agreed to let me out of my contract early, after numerous requests. Before I moved out of the property they got a contractor in to 'fix the damp' - The contractor painted over the mould in the bedroom and scraped some off the wall in the kitchen and that was their way of fixing the damp, so the person who moves in the property next will have all the same issues. The contractor himself couldn't believe the state of it and said a lot more needed to be done. I spoke with the neighbour who informed me that the 2 previous tenants had the same problem, although barkers told me there had never been an issue with the property before me.
Barkers have now had the audacity to charge me a 'checkout fee' and take that from my deposit.
Do not use this company is my only advice.
Good estate agents, very thorough and proffessional throughout the 2 years we rented with them. Whilst also being friendly and warm.
Thanks again for everything
We bought a house through James Sellicks last year. I must be very honest in my review as i am reviewing a business that has many members of staff, supports many individuals as well as families and no doubt has a long established base within Leicester and surrounding areas. Therefore, be assured that this review is not from a competitor or someone out to try and harm James' business in any away.
Due to the purchase price being so high, i had the misfortune of having to deal with James Sellicks himself. I found James to be murky in his dealings and very rude and abrupt at times. The property in question was sought after and i wanted it so i had no choice but to put up or shut up basically.
I advise anyone reading this to be very cautious about dealing with James Sellicks. They know how to lure you in and make sure you pay top dollar by talking the talk to their client's advantage.
I found James to be impersonable, pushy and rude.
All in all i am grateful for the opportunity to be able to review JS honestly, fairly and openly and of course in the public domain. This review reprents my opinion of having transacted in a deal with James Sellicks
