We used this agency to sell our rental property, having previously had dreadful service from a well known high street company, who failed to sell it after 3 months. We went with Peter at Kendals despite the slightly higher fixed cost of the agent fees - because at all stages of the quote and engagement he was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The extra money was WELL WORTH IT as he sold our property on the first day at a price far higher than the other estate agents had even suggested. At every stage he worked very efficiently, even rescued our sale when the mortgage company threw a spanner in the works with our buyer, by keeping the buyer engaged. He is a proper old fashioned estate agent who will take effort to actually SELL your property - not just secure your business, get your fixed fee to list the property - and then not care whether it sells or not. He replies to your emails promptly and keeps you updated at all stages. We couldn't recommend enough for selling your property.... Read more

If I've needed any help with the property they have sorted it straight away for me, property rent is also very reasonable especially during these times with covid, alot of other landlords have raised rental prices for no reason. Beware, Kendalls will rip you off. Rent will increase every 6 months, they try to charge you for their repairs. you will not get your deposit back, not all of it anyway. AVOID! I moved out after only 1 year with these.... Read more

I do not recommend to anyone! ? - they were scammers and thieves, for my friend Dariusz took the Deposit and pulled it at enormous costs (he gave the house clean and tidy.) They dumped his money from the deposit and the rent. I do not recommend to anyone !!!!!... Read more

We've been renting a house through this agency for one and a half year. After one year there was a problem with a main gravitational water tank, which comes out has been rusted all the way. This is the same tank we've used for a kettle and tea , disgusting. After reporting ,they did nothing for half a year. We've decided to move out. We gave the keys back one week before the agreement end date. On the moving out day ,the house was in a better condition than it was before .Very clean ,professionally cleaned carpets, few improvements etc. I've been told , that agency will contact me next working day if something is wrong with the property , which never happened. After over a week I got an email with a list of ''damages'' like one dust web (!) , items I left : window curtains, bbq , or weeds in a mini garden ( obviously after over a week!!) . Because of that agency deducted 350£ of 800£ secured deposit . Be very careful when moving out , take pictures , or go for inspection with them , otherwise you won't get your deposit back....
