Excellent service and I would have no hesitation in recommending James Sellick Estate Agents of Leicester.
It was forty years since I last bought and sold a house so the task was daunting. However, from the initial phone call and visit from the valuer I felt they had a firm understanding of my position. Everyone I came in contact with had clear communications and was extremely professional and friendly without any high pressure. The house sold very quickly but exchange and completion were several months later due to delays down the chain. I was kept up to date every step of the way and felt my interests were being looked after in a very positive manner.
Thanks to all the team but particularly to Anne Mann, my first contact with Sellicks, whose advice was very supportive and Danielle who handled communications, which at times proved to be a little difficult due to external circumstances.
In short a trusted and professional team.

No water on a Saturday morning, spoke to a representative called Emma and she did not care about this situation. Told us we’d have to wait until Monday to even report it so have to stay at least two days with no water. Not helpful at all, poor service especially for a client who has used them for several years.

I would like to thank Anne Mann at JS we first viewed a property we fell in love with back in Aug 2019 and due to a very difficult buyer for my property and c19 we completed 10 stressful months later but Anne was always very responsive and understood how much this meant to us and did everything she could to help us get to the end. I was delighted with how professional everyone was at the company.
I chose Sellicks because of the detailed information they gave me prior to signing the contract and positivity about marketing the property and the figure the property was advertised at.
At all stages of the process of selling the home I was kept informed of progress and follow up on visits from clients who viewed the property.

The Oakham team deserve nothing but praise. They actively promoted our property and found ideal buyers within a couple of weeks. My house was marketed by James Sellicks (Oakham) and in the first week we had 10 viewings which was outstanding, with all potential purchasers having been well briefed and all were seriously interested in the house. Communication after each visit was excellent and as a result we knew exactly what attracted potential buyers. Caroline was an absolute star and worked extraordinarily hard to find the right buyer. Within 3 weeks agreement had been reached and a sale arranged. There followed significant delays on all sides, which were well managed by the team and my buyer's interest was maintained through regular communication and we were kept abreast of developments throughout. Lauren kept solicitors, the other agents in the chain etc fully up to speed, whilst Henry provided sound professional guidance thoughout.

In sum, a thoroughly professional organisation with a thorough knowledge of their business who really do go that extra mile to get the job done. I thoroughly recommend them for both marketing and post sale management through to completion.
