Avoid ACDC Sales and Lettings Ltd – Expelled by PRS I had an extremely frustrating experience with ACDC Sales and Lettings Ltd. They failed to comply with PRS (Property Redress Scheme) decisions and refused to pay the money they owed me. After months of delays, stress, and lack of accountability, PRS officially expelled them on 10.02.2025 due to their non-compliance. This means ACDC Sales and Lettings Ltd is no longer a member of any redress scheme, and if they are still operating, they should not be trading legally. If you have any dealings with them, be extremely cautious. If you notice them continuing to trade, report them immediately to PRS and your local Trading Standards I hope this review helps others avoid the stress I went through.... Read more

I would like to start my story from the very begining of tenanting my property with ACDC. I choose them because they were offering %2-3 cheaper management fee with rent guarantee compare to the other estate agencies. While they are finding a tenant they only targeted to place someone into my property since they rush me to put someone without doing proper checks. When there is some issues at hone they inform you however not trying much to find a competitive contructor or technician to get your job done. They supposed to do 2times inspection everyyear but they have done only once in 3year in despite of so many request emails that I have send to them. My tenant is a problematic one for rental payments for orginising visits etc however this ACDC guys doesnt do the jobs that they supposed to do!. When there is a challenging email they never reply to you. I am contracted with them rent guarantee and eviction of tenant however the process hasnt started in 1years although my tenant is not paying properly (every months 17days late payment, and tenant did not make 3monts consecutive payments etc). ). There are more very bad experiances (without having service from ACDC) some of them I forgot and some of them and some bored of writing here but please contact to me if you need any evidences and talk more. Im currently letting a property from them. I have mould growing everywhere from poor ventilation in the property, which has damaged my furniture and there’s mushrooms and fungal growing out of the wall/carpet from a leak, no fault of my own. I’ve been told to let it dry out. Absolutely terrible management. This has made me depressed and stressed about my health I’ve had to take time off work due to my health. No one has come out and even acknowledged the mould and mushrooms growing out the carpet. My tenancy ended in December, therefore I’m on a roll over tenancy when I told them i do not want to continue with the tenancy due to this issue I was told by Paula I’m still liable to pay until February even if I move out of the property early. Which just shows they don’t have any understanding or care about the welfare of there tenants.... Read more

Posting as a trades person (locksmith). I was contacted by Daniel who was in need of my assistance at a property in Loughborough. Very thorough and knowledgeable about what was required. I met Daniel on site and was impressed with the technology that he uses to survey properties (from past experience its normally a camera phone). I was also impressed with the timely nature in which he attended (early) as this is something I haven't witnessed from others. He had a very professional attitude, and from what I witnessed was extremely interested in residents (communal) personal experiences and reports. Posting as a seller, very happy with the service received which has brought me to memorandum of sale despite a weaker market locally. When choosing an agent it was between two of the large established agents in my area or ACDC; I felt that an up-and-coming agent with a smaller portfolio would be able to devote more time and effort on my property (which I knew would not be straightforward to sell) and fortunately this decision paid off through Harry's hard work. Communication and contingency planning was also excellent. Pricing was also equivalent or better to any other agents I tried, which reflects that this is an agent looking to expand, and achieving individual (rather than volume) sales seems materially important to them. After using a large local estate agent to manage the sale of my house, and not receiving a single offer in four months, it was very refreshing to receive what felt like 5* treatment from AC-DC, namely Harry. More viewings were arranged in the three weeks my house was for sale with AC-DC, than the big high street agent managed to generate in four months. Having a smaller portfolio means AC-DC can commit fully to each sale they manage, rather than each house just being another number in their book, or FOR SALE board in a street. Having also viewed a house which AC-DC were selling, it was also commendable that there was no rush or pressure to view the house in a 15 minute time slot. Although the house we viewed was not for us, we had ample time to look, feel and digest everything the house had to offer, allowing us to make an educated decision after the viewing. Highly recommend anyone considering selling a house, speak to AC-DC and discuss the benefits of their way of doing "none contracted" business before committing to a sole agency contract with an agent who has more houses to sell than customers to sell them to!...
