I have just sold a house in Daventry through the local Howkins & Harrison Branch and I have been extremely pleased with their service.
The staff [especially Jenny] have been very helpful, and as I asked them to take care of the whole thing, including viewings, and liaison with prospective buyers, it was completely hassle free for me.
I was kept informed all the way through, and with so much money involved, I appreciated the fact that my decisions could be made with the knowledgeable professional advice from the H & H team.

Rang early last week to view a property. Was told to wait till weekend, did so. Then I was rang a couple of hours before to say it has been cancelled because vendor had an issue. Fair enough nothing estate agent can do.
Provisionally booked in for Wednesday, which is quite far away for a viewing. Was rang today to ask if I can do Thursday? As I had already explained I have funds available (all documents printed out ready for Saturday viewing) and I am looking to tie something up in that area ASAP, understand the property had an offer below marketed price. I had explained I was willing to go above if it was suitable on viewing. I decided that either the vendors or estate agent was not serious about selling this property so kindly expressed that I will not be viewing this property. Once I had said that I was met with and “okay, bye!” and phone put down. No apologies for wasting my time, no time given to see if there was any other properties suitable, no real bother at all.
I’ve sold two properties since August & would be mortified if my estate agents did that. In fact one buyer was recommended via a database of investors the estate agent had. This lady just put down the phone quite rudely when I was actually going to ring today to see if it was possible to view another property they've got and this one on Wednesday. After that experience I don’t think I’ll bother. There’s plenty on the market and as much as they don’t need (or seem to want) sales at the minute, people don’t need them as there is plenty on the market right now. Sellers be aware that this estate agent cares little about selling your property, they’ll get paid at the end of the month regardless.
I am extremely impressed by SBK Leamington Spa, the entire lettings process has been wonderfully smooth and all interactions with SBK’s Marc & Faye have been an absolute pleasure! I cannot recommend them highly enough (and I qualify that statement by personal experience of other managing Agents)
Having a property to let, I had arranged back to back meetings to review the services of 6 different local managing agents so that I could compare and contrast their service offerings.

In a nutshell, their sales tactics are to massively overvalue your property, to the tune of about 10-15% more than any other agent, in order to get you excited, just so that you sign up with them.
Then 3-4 months later, after it hasn’t sold, they will tell you to drop your asking price. This is all premeditated from the outset, dishonest.
Superb job by Rachel in helping us buy our property. In an environment where nobody lends a helping hand or gives guidance; Rachel and Hannah acted as our whips for solicitors on both sides - yet maintained a professional approach in all dealings. I will definitely be using them in all future business of the kind.
I would not recommend using their services if your looking for renting an apartment.
They do no answer back emails, call back nor give invoices unless you demand it and still they don’t clarify in the invoice what it was for.
(And their prices are not cheap!)
I also had to chase them for a month to get my deposit back.
Extremely cold staff (especially Aimee) they are all just waiting to show you the way out - the second you enter the door.
In short it’s a place that makes sure that you are aware that they don’t care about you, only your money.

With the recent bad weather my boiler, along wit a lot of others, was affected, I received a call in the evening to try a fix and very early next morning a plumber called to sort the issue out. Fantastic service and support.
To be honest my experience with redbrick coventry as a tanent is horrible.i would never go there and suggest any one to go there.
I have got the house which was broken fence and when i moved in its fell down again because of wind and thats about 3 or 4 fences.i complaint 5,6 times or mybe more but the do not bother and got robed because of that after the robbery still one month no good response then i went to council.they visit the property and send warning to landlord and he fix the fence after 20 days warning.but still left all old broken fences in the garden as they said the gonna remove them after few days please remove old fences i need to clean the garden they still didnt listen to me.At the i when i left the house they now they charging me of back garden cleaning.because of them me and my wife was scared to live in that house but they dnt bother all they need is money for no service.time of robery we were sleeping upstairs.Thank God we r safe.i have got proof of every thing.

One of the best property managers I've come across. This organisation does what it say's it will do. Communication is exemplary, underpinning the very essence of confidence, critical for worry free property management.
Atrocious service. We were charged for things that we did not cause and a lot of our queries were ignored. We were not provided with any dated proof of any damages and were just simply charged. I’ve been back and forth demanding proof and have not been given any. There were clearly things they wished to replace in the house at the start, as they charged all tenants for the same thing (same price also). We cleaned the house to a higher standard than it was when we moved in and were charged for professional cleaning. It’s unbelievable how this agency likes to take advantage of students as many are naive to this kind of thing and will usually keep their heads down and accept the charges. Will definitely be telling my friends to stay away from this place.
