Arranged a viewing for a property only to find the property is not for sale.not even the courtesy to ring us to tell us this or they wouldn't be meeting us for the viewing. Then fobbed us of by saying they had left is a voicemail and we had given them the wrong email address. Utter shambles!!!!!!

As a first time landlord I was a bit daunted by the process. Simon and the team at Greenaway are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, and they've made the whole process a lot smoother. Their professionalism and pro-activity at ironing out any issues along the way has been great, and their customer service is second to none. Highly recommended.
I rented a house with Greenaway Residential for two years. I continue to have nothing but good things to say about Simon, always very friendly, professional and ready to help. Everything was fine in the beginning, really helpful when we sign the contract and help us with the references and kept us informed.
Throughout these two years we had several problems. When something in the house needed to be fixed it did take a while for them to send someone, I understand in this situations it also depends on the landlord but the communication could have been better. My experience with Greenaway started to decline when the landlord decided to sell the flat and we started to feel a huge pressure to allow all the viewings no matter the time which was difficult since me and my housemate both work as cabin crew and we have different schedules than a normal job. They were not understanding nor helpful. We sent emails notifying them of the weeks we couldn't have viewings but it happened that someone came anyway without informing us. Another similar situation happened when they booked a viewing with a potential buyer and no one showed up and asked us if it could be my housemate showing the house to the person. The worst thing that happened was when Raj decided to go to our flat for a viewing, without our confirmation, when we previously said we did not want any viewings without one of us present, and after that he locked the house using the wrong door lock so when I came back from work I couldn't get inside my house. Fortunately Simon was available to help me. We never got an apology from Raj and even later on we was never pleasant on his emails. At the end of the tenancy they continued not being flexible or understanding at all. Even returning the keys was a problem since they kept changing the arranged time (three times) even 15 minutes before the scheduled time. I do recommend Greenaway if you are a very flexible person without a job ready to meet all their schedules because they won't try to meet yours, and hopefully you'll be lucky enough not to deal with Raj. It was a shame because I really had high regards of Greenaway after signing the house contract. Unfortunately it only takes one bad employee to tarnishes the reputation of the agency. Overall it was just a very stressful experience.

When the sale was accepted I was looked afternoon by Sarah, she was fantastic and communicated with the solicitors for me so I could get in with my daily life.

The experience I had in the beginning of my interaction with this company was great. They where helpful and friendly during my 2 years as a customer. So why the 1 star?
Well when it came to the end of my lease I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. I bent over backwards to make sure that there was always someone at home to let them in to view the property when I was leaving. I gave then 3 months notice before I left. They where always friendly when they wanted to show someone the flat. But when it came time to handing back the keys it wasn't so great. I was stuck at work (it happens sometimes in life) and was arrived when the agency was closed I didn't feel comfortable putting keys and important documents through a letter box. So I was going to arrange to drop the keys off sometime the next day. So I get a very rude phone call first thing the next day from a very rude man who spoke to me in a threatening tone and spoke over me when I tried to reply to him and they charged me a full days rent.
Yea I agree I didn't hand the keys back in time but is it necessary to speak to a loyal customer in such tone and charge me a full days rent for being half a day late? Come now there is no need to treat people as if they are trash. Disappointed with the whole thing. I'm not surprised the landlord has switched agencies now. And why am I being charged when they have a set of keys anyway?
The team at MM have been fantastic throughout the process. As a first time buyer I was concerned the whole process would be complicated and stressful but Sam and the team guided me through the process and ensured everything ran smoothly and that I was well informed throughout. Great service, reliable and trustworthy - I would have no hesitation recommending them and would gladly use there services again in the future. Thanks again Sam!

We bought a property through Savills in May this year. The team were faultless throughout...in fact, when we had problems with our completion, they went ‘the extra mile’.
Savills facilitated several visits to the property in the months leading up to our purchase and kept us in the loop throughout the time that the property was on the market. Their communication skills were FANTASTIC.
We felt that they really were looking after both the vendor and the purchaser exceedingly well throughout the whole process.

Really impressed, we own a business and phoned their Bolton office to discuss buying another, turned out it had sold. They were really helpful and responsive in helping us narrow down others to look at.
Unfortunately not really the right time for us but i have already recommended this firm to a friend who is looking too, hopefully be back soon.
