We had a good service from Cubitt and West purchasing our house and Claire kept us informed at each stage throughout the purchase. As we were new to the area Claire also provided plenty of useful local information. On moving in we had some initial small niggles and she was in contact with us and the seller in the initial days to sort these out.

Initially sold the house quickly to supposedly cash buyers and then it dragged on for nearly 6 months and the buyers pulled out on the day we were supposed to exchange, no real explanation, blamed everyone else except themselves, but crucially no communication from the agent who sold the house, the sales progressor who does not work in the branch did try to mediate for us but couldnt get anywhere with them, maybe they didnt have the money after all!!

Very helpful and friendly and certainly not the stereotype estate agents I had expected. James was particularly helpful to me over the telephone. He went out of his way to help me with my inquiries despite knowing that I wasn't going to be spending any money straight away. Why such a sore loser attitude?
Alex Pink of East Grinstead brunch did our evaluation visit but could not accept our decision to proceed with another agent and proceeded to make a number of follow-up calls to my wife criticising our decision and other agents. All of his numbers are now blocked on her phone and we are confident that we will never work with this agency.
