I had 3 estate agents quote me to sell the property of my late father. Garnham H Bewley we’re the least expensive and had recently sold a property nearby. They are an independent estate agent and while they don’t have access to a network of branches for potential buyers, the world is so ‘small’ now with the internet I didn’t view this as a negative. The area we are selling in is also currently attracting potential buyers who are looking for more rural areas, but still within commuting distance of London. I was committed to advertising the property for 7 weeks with Garnham’s as a sole agent, and it was sold STC within 2 weeks of being advertised. Overall I am happy with the communication received from Garnham’s to date, and with their recommendation of a conveyancing solicitor. They also gave me contact details of a local house clearance company who were very good.
