My 78 year old and mum had to phone his office three times trying to get the key to enter her new home.
She was repeatedly told that he was in a meeting.
He'll be at least an hour...
Three hours later on her third attempt she was given the combination of the key safe by the front door in order to gain access to the front door key.
No further contact received from them.
No apology, congratulations nothing.

I'm extremely disappointed in my experience with you.
I had filled up the application amd submitted my offer the day it was sent to me on 22nd of August and got no reply or response from you regarding it. The vast majority of the letting agencies move forwards after an offer is made but i was made to wait an entire week till 29th of August when i found out on right move that the property had been let agreed!
It seems like i was purposely led on which not only caused me significant anxiety but also cost me other good properties that i had an opportunity to rent but didnt due to no clear answer on your part. It also feels as if the letting agreement was purposely delayed to find tenants of your preferences rather than on genuine and honest merits.

We used Alistair Redhouse Property Partners earlier this year for both buying and selling, and would highly recommend them. We mostly dealt with Alistair and Robert, but all the team were knowledgeable, helpful and reliable. Customer service and communication were excellent - I don't think we ever had to chase for a reply. And just as importantly, we were very pleased with the prices they helped us negotiate. Having viewed houses with lots of different agencies, I feel confident saying that AR are the best in the area!

Professional and immensely helpful.
In our first phone call they identified what kind of rentals we were looking for and helped suggest and arrange multiple viewings for the day we were visiting. Vykinte and Richard were communicative and knowledgeable. Whenever I phoned - despite being a busy time of year - they would always take the time to help us. Even if the lettings team themselves were out of office, someone from the sales team would still try to help answer our query. We felt reassured and looked after throughout the whole process. Clearly a slick team and we would confidently put our trust in them again.

Recently moved to Oxford and rented a place from them. Just so happen to have had some incidents with the rental in the past week, communicated the problem to the agency and it was acted on right away. The problem was actually resolved within 24 hours. Very remarkable I must say, given how generally rental agencies are preceived.

Aviod! We have been renting through these for 9 months, and through out have had endless problems, They gave keys over to people to enter our home with no consent, we but endless complaints in about our roof and extractor fan being broke and completely damaged, it took them 3 months to sort this. When they brought in a electrician to come do work for us it turns out my partner knows them very well and The agents didn’t have nice words to say about us in emails which is unprofessional . Because we pushed for work to be done, baring in mind mould around pregnancy is a health risk. Then come to actually say that it was our responsibility for the mould. They tried saying we never cleaned, I was on my hands and knees cleaning that house! We left no damages we left it in no worst state when we left at all. But they charged us £360 for cleaners. They also agreed on are deposit price return in a confirmed email and then took another £200 pound of the price when returning it and now can’t get through to anyone. These people are very rude never rent through these people. Also save your self some time in not replying and correcting your outstanding bills with us

I've recently ended a 3 year tenancy managed by the Alistair Redhouse team. As a long term renter throughout the years, I've dealt with a variety of letting agents and my general experience is that they tend to care far more about landlords than tenants and it's often been frustrating. However, this was not the case with Alistair Redhouse. Throughout my tenancy, I felt valued as a tenant and they were always very quick to respond to any issues with the house and each team member I dealt with was friendly, efficient and professional. Based on my experiences with them, I have no hesitation in recommending them for anyone renting in the Kidlington area.

Saw a rental property we were interested in messaged Alistair’s the day it came on the market. It took literally four messages and a week later before we finally got a response that it had already let. Yes, let agreed showed on all the websites at the end of the week in which they never responded so we could put an application in. We’ve been house hunting for several weeks now and this is the first company we’ve come across that has not responded within two days.

AVOID!!
One of the worst rental agencies we have dealt with. Initially at the time of our moving in, we were in contact with 'Ben Alderson' who was emphatic and helpful. However, at the check out, we were dealt by 'Adam Coope' who even lack basic human communication, let alone empathy and courtesy.
At the time of checkout we were charged almost half of our deposit and Adam provided us with the most expensive quotes on the things, which were not even at the fault. We have to contact DPS ourselves to save some of our deposit at the end of tenancy. If you are renting a house, we will suggest to look through a different agency, after our DISAPPOINTING and TERRIBLE experience.

They repeatedly tried to add in additional clauses to the agreement after it had been signed, failed to manage repairs in an appropriate manner, refused to refund the correct deposit amount. I highly recommend Alistair Redhouse. I've bought and sold my property with these guys whilst also purchasing and selling withing separate agents. They stand head and shoulders above the competition.
They are extremely responsive throughout the whole process and know exactly what they are doing. Other agents valued my property lower than 'AR' and it was sold within a week.
The professional service didn't stop there though. Comparing to other estate agents who have simply pied me off by being unresponsive, they have acted instantly on any of my queries and understand the whole chain.

They are attentive and quick to respond to queries and staff have always been friendly and courteous in all my dealings with them. We emigrated to NZ in July 2017 and Liam took over the management of letting our property in May 2018 (following the fiasco of another letting agency that I won’t name).

We were tenants of Alistair Redhouse for nearly 3 years and frankly I’ve never had better service before! Having relocated from London we knew nothing about the area but Adam (old name now) gave us a full tour before we even viewed a house with him.
Susan, previous property manager now sales agent extraordinaire, looked after us from the word go. Any issue: boiler breakdown, leaking ceiling, damp etc all fixed and sorted quickly and seemingly easily. Also, because her communication was on point I felt as though I had a direct line to the overseas landlord who was always happy to help, or at least it felt they were!
The whole team are always on hand to take a call and help in any way they can, if you need to speak to a certain person they are quick to call you back, leave a message and send an email.
I think the 5 stars shows my opinion but I would absolutely recommend them to any of our friends we keep trying to convince to move from London. Anyone looking to sell please at least get them out to value your home, I think you will be very impressed.

Attempted to purchase a property from them.
Agreed a sale and then Agent informed me his vendor had changed their mind.
Incurred legal fees after a sale was agreed only to have sale conditions changed.
Alistair then told me. He suspected he would have challenges with this vendor after I had spent 250 quid on legal fees.
Worst agent in Kidlington in my opinion after first hand experience with all other agents.

Without a shadow of a doubt the worst agent I've experienced, I had Alistair come out and value my property and all he was interested in is bad mouthing other agents which I found extremely unprofessional, fortunately I've decided not to sell but if I do it won't be through this estate agency, Alistair just remember your a 1 man band try selling yourself professionally rather than knocking the bigger agents, because believe me when I sell it won't be through you and I will never be told who I shouldn't sell with or which agents you team up with, unprofessional estate agency at its finest STAY WELL CLEAR!!!!
