25th Oct 2024 (16 weeks ago)I thought there were no good agents in Oxford until Saville recommended me to Richard at Scott Fraser. Mixed reviews on the internet, so I was a little sceptical about them in the beginning but they proved me wrong. Richard head the sales team there with William and Caia. The whole team has been amazing throughout the whole process, from valuation through to final sale. The valuation was realistic and fair. Photography and marketing was delivered with professionalism. The viewings were conducted with professionalism and care. There was never any query / questions too trivial and the whole team was on top of our sale, so you can call up and speak to any member of the team to get an answer. Follow-up is excellent and they will always call back, if they don’t have an answer. They also go above and beyond to sort out any issues, and find solutions that works for both the buyer and seller. We sold our property first week it was listed. We are very happy with Scott Fraser Summertown and highly recommend them if you are planning to sell your property in north Oxford,
24th Oct 2024 (16 weeks ago)We used Carter Jonas in Oxford, England to rent out our property and I was overall very satisfied with the service they provided. I didn´t have to do any chasing as things progressed nicely in a timely manner and they were very good at getting back to me with updates. Their rates were also much better than the other common letting agencies. The only small thing that can be improved is the delay between tenants paying the rent to Carter Jonas and the day it is received by the landlord, if that can be reduced it would further increase the satisfaction. But overall I would recommend Carter Jonas.
17th Jan 2025 (29 days ago)I feel very let down by this company, My daughter's went to view an apartment for us, to see if it was worth our 2 and a half drive viewing, they said it was ok, so we went to see it and showed our interest only to be told there was a offer for asking price, we upped our offer but then was told it had been sold! Before giving us a chance to up our previous offer. Devastated.
30th Jan 2025 (16 days ago)In the past Connells did have an issue with motivated staff, however they are now revitalised! Lettings headed up by Shane Birks have shown a new competitiveness, and vigor and a comprehensive understanding of the landlords and tenants perspective. I was delighted at the timely communications and service, recent additions to the team of Samuel Harley, are an indication that this team will continue to grow and offer the most valuable asset of integrity and oustanding customer service!

6th Nov 2024 (14 weeks ago)I wish I could give no stars. They just don’t leave you alone we had a representative come out months ago to then find out he had left or been sacked so we didn’t fellow up. They then hounded me with phone calls constantly after countless times of telling them to stop , and when you tell them to stop bloody calling they get really angry with you. Just had a full blown argument with some member of staff who felt brave today accusing me of raising my voice. Raised my voice ? I’m the client, very silly individual. The most disgusting customer service and useless company. Do yourself a favour and stay well away from them.

Michelle has gone above and beyond what I would have expected. I would recommend to absolutely anyone. Also Michelle was very supportive and promptly responded to all the queries and advised in the best manner. Would highly recommend Michelle if you are looking for a mortgage or a remortgage. They were very diligent in ensuring that many and different potential buyers saw our property ensuring we got the best offer we could. They were also very helpful in helping us find a property in the area we were keen to be in. This was no easy task and we're really grateful they were able to find us somewhere. They were also good advocates during the legal process. A lovely, friendly team!

Initially, we were struggling to find somewhere to live in Oxford and our experiences with other letting agencies was stressful to say the least. Rosie was the first lettings negotiator we dealt with that was empathetic to our struggles. Rather than pressuring us into making an immediate decision, we were given time to consider making an offer, and Rosie and was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. We highly recommend renting with Savills (and Rosie in particular) if you're looking for somewhere to live in Oxford.

31st Jan 2025 (15 days ago)A first time buyer here... My experience with Thomas Merrifield has been simply outstanding and would definitely recommend them. Right from the beginning until the end, they were very transparent with everything, extremely prompt in communication and professional in their conduct. What I specially liked about Thomas Merrifield is that unlike other estate agents I dealt with, they never "hassled" me to have any of their mortgage brokers, lawyers or other services that many other agents push their clients for. Lisa made the entire process very smooth, and helped me at every stage of the buying process, coordinating with the seller. She promptly addressed my endless queries over the last few months and helped me immensely. I would definitely recommend Thomas Merrifield if you are looking for buying a property in/around Oxford.

In my lifetime I have brought and sold a number of properties in a number of different areas of the country. From my past experience I link the “Jaws “theme “ with Estate Agents. Well that was the case until my dealings with Alexander & Co. Every member of the team has been knowledgeable, kind courteous, empathetic and understanding. The sale of my property was complex due to parities involved. Alexander & Co were able to keep the sale on course in very difficult circumstances. Kaiden Ellingham’s approach was enthusiastic, dynamic, his ideas were relevant. In addition he was knowledgeable of the area. Not only was he knowledgeable and experienced he was professional and gave a detailed approach on how to market the house with a realistic price figure and keep the sale on course. He was able to negotiate with all parties involved in difficult circumstances and went above and beyond! I know that the words honesty and trust are not usually words synonymous with Estate Agents but from my experience they can definitely be associated with Alexander and Co. I know that Alexander &Co’s approach in selling the house was working with both me and the buyer to ensure that the best price was achieved. From my experience when it comes to selling a property in the Bicester area if you want a reliable trustworthy agent who has knowledge of the area I wouldn’t be settling for second best and be heading to Alexander & Co. 4th Feb 2025 (11 days ago)College and county has looked after two rental houses for me for several years and they take all the hassle out of my life. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
