Adrian and his team where simply fantastic. They were professional and courteous at all times. From the initial appointment where Adrian took our property details, which included very carefully thought photographs which I was able to proof check. He explained the recent history of selling prices and offered practical advice for pricing our property for the current market. Tracey then took the lead and gave us daily and weekly updates of potential clients and arranged appointments. We were fully supported every step of the way which took a lot of pressure from ourselves. I would not hesitate to recommend JW Woods and am so delighted that we used them for our recent move. Helpful Liz and the best lady I have met all my life ....I still remembered the first day she showed a flat I was homeless depressed not knowing who to run to she really helped to have a roof over head, nice ???? lady Liz God bless and ur agency
I received unjust invoices, very distressing and inconvenient. I asked for a office phone - I never got it. Oh, and my employee resigned over the terrible noise in the co-working office as she could not perform her duties - cost me disruption to my business and I am in-dept to this company for rent as they wont let me out of my contract with no charge despite everything they put me through. Avoid the co-working office and go for a single office the size of a match box with no window and pay lots of money for it instead is my advice or better still go somewhere else.
Both my son I are selling flats with Bridgefords Washington. We now have buyers for both properties. The proactivity , energy and effort that as been shown particularly by Emily Penteland has been fantastic. During this process our family has suffered a bereavement , her empathy and support during this time has wonderful. We cannot thank her enough.

I did not even want to give one star..I would stay well clear of Bridgfords in Washington. The staff are useless and really do not help. We moved out of a property and we waited 2 month for our deposit back. I really would not recommend this agency!! With this agency you constantly bang your head off the wall.
I would like to comment on the excellent knowledge and customer service we had from Susan at Reeds Rains We were recommended by a good friend of ours and Susan did an amazing job. I would defiantly recommend Susan for anyone looking to rent there property.

I’d never rented a house out before so trusted Reeds Rains draw up a suitable contract in my best interests, as I was immigrating.
Turns out the tenant they advised me to accept was a personal friend of one of the branches employees and they signed the tenant up to a 12 month no break contact, which basically meant he could pay no rent whatsoever and there was noting I could do about it until the end of his lease. I have since talked to other agencies and they couldn’t believe they offered a tenant this contract. I was sending Reeds Rains 7-10 emails a week asking what was going on and was lucky if I received 1 reply.
Eventually I had to give up my dream life in Canada as someone living in my UK house rent free was costing me a fortune.
I’ve now used another agency to find me a tenant with no issues, but have never received a single penny of the outstanding rent.
Horrible people working at their Gateshead office. I am not sure if their rudeness is directed to tenants generally, which seems to be case if you look at other feedback (completely negative!), or if they are specifically targeting people from a certain gender, class, nationality or race background. Just horrible. Avoid like the plague
Sarah Mains Low Fell charged 60% of rent admin fee and despite this, they forgot to verify when the previous tenant was moving out so 6 hours before moving in, we were informed the move could not take place and had to be rearranged.
Upon discussion with the landlord, they told us they had ALWAYS knew the previous tenant intended to move out the day after we were getting keys, indicating that Sarah Mains did not even verify details with the landlord.
On move-in day, no final inspection had took place so we are hoovering, cleaning out appliances and performing tasks that other well renowned estate agents (e.g. Belle Vue Estates) ensure the previous tenant has performed before move-out.
Poor communication that has cost us dearly in re-arranging moving vans and hired help. To conclude, especially as we have had no response to our complaint letter, Sarah Mains do not rate well with us for communication and organisation.
Always a pleasant and helpful service. Advice sound and freely given. Would thoroughly recommend.
Absolutely abysmal customer service or should I say non-existant customer service, was told to pay numerous admin fees upfront and I would be sent a receipt immediately, so I did so and have yet to receive any receipt after over 3 weeks from the payment date. I have made daily phone calls sometimes 2 or 3 a day have waited over 3 weeks for a call back, whenever I call the advisor is either 'in a meeting' or 'busy' and told they will call back when they are available. Full of time wasters and money grabbers who are not bothered about their customers at all once they have your money!
