This was the first house I have bought and I am so glad that I did it through Robinson’s! Great customer service always available when you need them and helpful. My wife and I went in and within 2 hours we had a huge list of houses within our budget and in good locations. Not sure how they do it so quickly other than having a great knowledge of the area. That’s just the first stage the rest, I don’t know what everyone is complaining about the whole process taking so long...
Initially making contact via online enquiry i did not receive any follow up call or email.
I visited the branch and a viewing appointment was made. immediately the attitude of the staff member made me feel i didn't want to deal with Robinson from the offset but i went ahead and viewed the property.
Having viewed the property i submitted my feelings and an offer online and didn't receive a reply.
I then called to discuss the offer and they didn't seem interested at all. again the attitude was awful.
three telephone calls later i managed to get some sense and they advised my offer had not been accepted. they showed no interest at all in asking for increased offers etc and could wait to get off the phone.
I prompted them to increase the offer and they said they would call the vendor and notify me if it was accepted but if i didn't hear from them to consider it had not been accepted, so not to waste each others time.
absolutely unbelievable, these people couldn't sell a biscuit to a starving man!!
Secured one viewing only, lined nothing else up, didn’t go out of their way to secure viewings, used all the we are fab patter when actually they weren’t and we’re rude at times.
New agent sold our house in 2 weeks! 16 weeks with them and they secured one viewing! Their premium service which we paid for was a waste!
Over priced and over rated agents!
Ben Charles are excellent! i would highly recommend them to anyone who is buying or renting a home. The customer service is superb, I know if i have a question or query i could ask and have get a prompt and detailed response! Would definitely use them in the future.
Had Ben for a viewing today. Was told ‘I’m not a surveyor’ and ‘I work for the client (seller)’ when I flagged up issues with the property including obvious damp. I’m no surveyor either but I’m also no idiot and when I see clear issues with a property like any lay person would, I expect the people selling the property to know about them and be honest about them. Buyers are not idiots. But then you do only work for the seller or so it seems.
