6th Nov 2024 (29 days ago)They are the worst agency in the world. Very racist. I have been in uk for 5 years and had loads of property on rent but never had any issue. This is the agency that have eaten up my deposit for no reason at all.

15th Oct 2024 (7 weeks ago)I recently rented and sold a flat with bridgfords Washington and unfortunately I’ve been left very disappointed with the service provided. Bridgfords were noticeably more expensive than competitors (I.e. 40% premium on other estate agents) and the service provided when selling the flat was poor overall. When I’d call their offices I would either not be able to get through or would be promised a callback which wouldn’t materialise which was very frustrating. The sale of my flat took 10 months with no chain and it realistically shouldn’t have taken anywhere near this long. A lot of the delays were caused by unresponsiveness either by bridgfords or by their recommended solicitors (which were also unresponsive and expensive compared to competitors). This poor service was disappointing and could have largely been avoided. Without emails/calls chasing there were weeks which would pass when nothing progressed. I was advised by bridgfords to end tenancy (2 months notice) as I was under the impression that completion was imminent, after tenants moved out the flat was empty for nearly 2 months which increased unnecessary costs of owning the vacant flat. Unfortunately at this stage I wouldn’t recommend using bridgfords.
30th Oct 2024 (5 weeks ago)Talking from a landlord's perspective, did not have good experience from start to finish. Multiple issues when tenants were in and even unresolved issues 3 months after tenants left. Would not recommend as a landlord. UPDATE: Nicole from Chester-le-street branch has been helpful. Managed to sort out issues after speaking to her. Main problem is with Reeds Rains central management team. Unfortunately, Chester-le-street branch is attached to the central team and lettings management are done under central team. Hence bad experience overall despite good branch service.

29th Oct 2024 (5 weeks ago)Struggled to get anywhere with maintenance issues. Moved in July 2024 (around 5 months ago) and we still have outstanding maintenance issues to be fixed despite raising these issues through Hive’s maintenance system the first week we moved in. We have contacted multiple members of staff regarding these issues and half of them have been resolved after chasing them but the rest seems to be forgotten about. I have now gave up chasing for them to be fixed.
31st Oct 2024 (5 weeks ago)I chose Venture to sell my home after reading positive reviews regarding their speed of sales. I wasn't disappointed. Within days after Todd's valuation, I had several viewings resulting in more than one acceptable offer. I did nothing. Todd showed every potential buyer round, and the house was subsequently sold. There then proceeded to be six months of solicitors arguing amongst themselves, causing so much stress. In those 6 months, there was only Connor at Venture who I could rely on. He always answers the telephone or returns your call as soon as he can. He replies to every email, query, voicemail and visit. He helped me print out documents that my solicitor told me to get printed at a library (I'm disabled and was incapacitated at the time), liaised with my solicitor to clarify these documents and posted them for me. I can't say the same for my solicitor but Connor did help what was a very very stressful process through no fault of Venture. My buyer was becoming frustrated with the time it took and Connor absorbed all this too, liaising with my solicitor to save me trying to chase her. I think you really find out how good a business is when things go wrong, not when they run smoothly. I have no hesitation in recommending Venture Properties Durham to anyone. They provided a faultless service amongst a field of imbeciles. Thank you Todd and particular thanks to Connor for being my house moving rock. Without you, it would have been much much worse than it was. You deserve a raise!

5th Jul 2024 (22 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
20th May 2024 (6 mo. ago)BP Auctions have been anything BUT easy to work with. We’ve been chasing for updates on the sale of our property for weeks with no response. Every time we manage to speak to someone on the phone, we’re promised a call back that never happens. No one responds via email, and the whole process has been painfully slow from start to finish.

Communication is always relevant & timely. Their Support, guidance & knowledge of the process I found invaluable. If I ever needed to move house again then these are the first people I would call. I would highly recommend Moovd to everyone & anyone planning a move.
