My recent experience with Ashley Samuel Letting Agents left me utterly flabbergasted and thoroughly disappointed. From the outset, it was abundantly clear that professionalism and basic courtesy were not on their agenda.
Upon placing a call, I was met with a tone that could freeze lava. The individual on the other end of the line seemed more intent on channeling their inner drill sergeant than engaging in a civil conversation. Each query was fired at me with the precision of a sniper rifle, devoid of any semblance of warmth or common decency.
To add insult to injury, I was unceremoniously placed on hold for an inexplicable duration of ten minutes, with no explanation or apology upon their return. It was as if my time held no value whatsoever in their eyes.
This encounter has left me questioning the hiring practices of Ashley Samuel Letting Agents. How can an individual so blatantly lacking in basic manners and professionalism be entrusted with client interactions? It defies all logic and common sense.
It's abundantly clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this agency. I urge prospective clients to exercise caution and explore alternative options before subjecting themselves to the appalling service provided by Ashley Samuel.

Unprofessional agents try to defraud your Deposit or rent.
Unprofessional Manner lead you to view the rental, and rush you to pay the deposit.
Please Be Careful, and Rethink.

Stay away from these people, they are despicable, nasty and incompetent. For those complaining about problems arranging viewings: you dodged a bullet. Years after renting a property from them, their dodgy dishonest practices are still causing me problems.
Don't be deceived, their properties might look cute and reasonably priced initially but once you rent from them you will regret it for both the duration of the tenancy and years after you have moved out.
Seriously, don't get in business with this agency

Few weeks ago they supposed to send me a video of a studio flat due to being unable to go physically as I was feeling unwell and which I never received. Today I called for two different flats but a viewing was refused as they are doing only one year contract when on one of the adverts is clearly stating 6 months tenancy available!

Rubbish agency all they do is ignore you..also very rude first ever time I tried viewing a property the agent on the phone, asked me if earned a certain amount each month otherwise I couldn't rent the property, which was rubbish because o could afford the rent..And now I request about two more flats & all they do is ignore me even when I chase them up..And now one is gone because they ignored me..And now they are still just completely ignoring me..they don't like disabled people or hard working people..they don't so their jobs & answer requests..useless people.

Terrible customer service, avoid!
Read the reviews before booking a viewing. Gave them the benefit of doubt and arranged a viewing with them. Staff where rude on the phone when booking to view property. I was told when I got to the property to call a number, they gave me. I had to call them 3 times before finally getting through to someone only to be told no one had left the agency to show the property. They said they would either get an agent down to show us or get the current tenant to show us the property and they will call me back. No phone call back. But the current tenant came out 5 minutes later to show us the property.
The current tenant was nice a friendly. We got better customer service from him than from the estate agent themselves. If they had some sense, they should recruit him and sack their current staff.
However, if that was me as tenant asked by my landlord to show property I would charge a fee to do it. They are good enough at trying to charge different fees. And if you think I am doing someone else’s work you must be mad.
When viewing the property I realised different photos where used in the listing for bathroom. Adding to list of poor service for the estate agent.
No phone call back from the estate agents to ask how the viewing went. If you can’t be asked to communicate us when hoping to take £12,000 for year you can guarantee if you had an issue with the property it would be hard work to talk to them.
The funny thing is I liked the property and the area. Had the estate agents been polite and turned up for the viewing I would have rented it.

I have been renting with this agency for 2 years and I am really happy. You may read loads of bad reviews, it's because the happy tenants are not bothered to leave a review.
Both Ashley and Samuel communicate effectively and solve issues in the flat. They would answer a phonecall at anytime, and really, not many agencies do that.
