I’ve worked on my search with Marcus Hook and the level of attention, his focus on understanding my requirements in detail was a breath of fresh air. He didn’t try to push me to view property that was not within my specifications, which is often the experience I’ve had with other agents.
On top of his professionalism, Marcus also has a wicked sense of humour and patience which helps dealing with the stress that moving can cause...
The worst experience I have had in moving house in London was with Chesterstones Chiswick. Chesterstones Chiswick wasted our time and energy to do a simple contract as well as organising a proper check in for us. They didn’t communicate everything properly with landlord and took no responsibility for the mistakes they made. Matthew accused us of being too dramatic!
Do not waste your money and most importantly your time.
I would highly recommend this agency. Nemanja, was very supportive, genuine and patient. He proved to be very knowledgable of the Hammersmith area, and straight away managed to find a variety of properties within our price range. He also took great care to familiarise himself with our preferences, keeping our best interests at heart.
After signing the contract they turn from beuty to beast...
very unprofessional and unkind!
KFH have always been friendly and helpful. The team at the branch have been very welcoming. Would recommend these agents.
Good customer service - but they charge £210 to "draw up the contract". In our case we questioned one of the terms in there (saying we would pay all bills although this should not have been the case) and were told it was just a generic contract and we should ignore this term.I'm sorry but if I'm going to be charged £210, the price of a decent TV, for a piece of paper, I expect it to be absolutely perfect (and probably gold plated).
KFH are nothing more than relatively polite thieves.
Daniela at this branch was totally amazing. She helped coordinate letting two properties for me. She was cool-headed, always so helpful and went above & beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Daniela was also very detailed, ensuring as a landlord I had everything in place legally and that I had all the necessary certificates too. Her handling of a potentially very stress-filled time for me, made everything feel possible and very calm. Thank you to Daniela and all at he Finsbury Park Ludlow Thompson office.
Never ever go with this agency. Only if I could give a 0. Or negative.
They will make everything so complicated and never ending that you feel frustrated and humiliated. They lied to us multiple occasions and mislead us several times.
The last thing that they tried is to charge us 150£ for turning the heating on. Although we told them there is nothing wrong with the heating, the knobs are missing from the radiators and we need help. They said it is not their responsibility to help us.... Worst agency I have ever been with.
I still have no heating...
I have rented my flat via Robertson Smith And Kempson in Acton and I must say the team in the office are excellent and full of energy! The moment i called the office i felt i was given honest advise on letting my property. The entire process was extremely smooth with regular updates from viewings and potential people for my house, from agreeing the offer it took only five days to having my new tenants move in. Highly recommend to anybody who is looking to let their property out in the area. Thanks guys!
The worst experience we've had with an estate agent. We arranged to view a flat at a certain time. We had to call the agent to see why nobody came at the appointed time. We were assured they were on their way. We waited 15 minutes before anyone arrived. Eventually two young women arrived without explanation but did not have the keys. They said someone else would be arriving and they knew nothing, as they "only work on Saturdays" as if that explained it all. The next woman arrived, by this time twenty minutes late, with another client. She walked right past us with no explanation nor apology and proceeded to enter the building with the other client. It appeared as if she expected us to follow her in. In the circumstances we had no inclination to do so and we left, having wasted a journey and at least an hour of our time on a Saturday afternoon.
Absolutely amazing afternoon tea and service! Unfortunately I forgot the name of the gentleman who served us (he was from Budapest) but I wanted to thank him for making my mum's visit to London even more special. Service was exceptional and even the gluten free tea looked just as fabulous as the "normal" one. I'm so glad I finally made it after waiting for so long to get a space!
For a place that stands for impeccable service, we receive appaling level of attentiveness from the staff at the afternoon tea/ dinner service. Its the holidays and they must have been busier than usual but overwhelmed is not something I expect given their reputation. Definitely not worth the spend and time.
