I've been subjected to the pain of the buying and selling of houses 3 times in the last 5 years and have dealt with several agencies across the NW.
Simon and Bethann of Ashtons are head and shoulders above the rest, and I have experienced Ashtons in Newton-le-willows from both a buyer and seller perspective.
Professional and diligent in their approach, they were always on hand and the service was a bargain; selling my house before the for sale sign was even up.
As a result, Ashtons will always be my first choice to sell my property and are a trusted advisor and brand.
I'd be happy to pay a little bit more and get the best quality than deal with some of the less reliant names out there.

Viewed a property but will consider selling through this agent as very impressed with the staff member .Friendly but professional. No B.S .and honest .A quality lacking in some other High St estate agents whose integrity is questionable from my experience. Recommended .

I chose to use Ashtons for my house sale after reaching out to a few different agents in the area and having little to no response, except from Simon. Simon was due to finish for the day in 5 minutes when I first called, but he stayed on late talking to me to help me understand everything that was required. I had already moved 200 miles away from Newton-le-Willows, but Simon and Bethann made the process of selling so simple and easy. The house was listed for sale and I had accepted an offer within a week at full asking price. Unfortunately the first sale fell through due to the buyers circumstance changing, but they re-marketed for me, and got another 3 offers within 6 days, again at full price. They were always providing updates, helped with the arrangement of my HTB survey, and went above and beyond to progress my sale through to completion. The first time I ended up meeting them was to hand over the keys for the new owner. 10/10 recommend!

Engaged with Simon and the team in selling my house, and his approach and enthusiasm for his job was very apparent.....he then linked our sale to what we were looking for in the same area....had regular updates and certainly felt like he was doing his upmost to find something that ticked our long wish list.....he was then instrumental in securing our new house which ticked all the boxes and have been living in for nearly 6 months....would certainly recommend and use again...if we were ever to move!

I chose Ashtons to sell my mother's house in Newton and didn't regret it. Simon and Bethann in the Newton office were professional and personable and were happy to undertake little tasks for me which was very helpful as I live 200 miles away. I have a very low tolerance of inefficiency so what I especially liked was that I never had to chase them up if I'd asked them to do something or to call me back - they always did what I asked and came back to me. I received a cash offer at the asking price on the day the property went on sale and, after discussing the options with Simon, decided to accept it. Can't ask for more than that!

I recently bought a house through Ashton's in Newton and I would definitely recommend them. I dealt with Amy, she was friendly and supportive, nothing was too much trouble with her and she always responded quickly to my emails or calls. I had to contact her when we had problems with our solicitors, she was very experienced and explained things to us. Thank you Amy and Ashtons for helping us find our dream home :)

Used Ashtons to sell our 4-bed detached property in Newton in 2017/18. I got quotes from 4 estate agents and Simon's was the only one which didn't feel like a sales pitch. Admittedly I was a little disappointed with their service whilst the property was initially on the market (which Simon was aware of and apologised for) but they 110% made up for it with their after-sales service.
Our sale was a bit of a nightmare (massive chain fell through and then the second sale brought up legal issues from the purchase 3 years prior that we were unaware of) but Simon (and Stacey) were there throughout - managing the chain, chasing up the legal parties, calming our buyers when yet another issue delayed the completion, consistently making sure I had all the information...
They genuinely earned every penny (and more) and were the one company in the whole process that I would actually use again and recommend to others.
