Contacted the estate agents sales team on a number of occasions to arrange a viewing. In the end I had to drive 15 miles to go to their branch to arrange one. When I attended, the estate agent was late but I stayed optimistic. All of 10 seconds into my viewing another 2 people came for their viewing. The estate agent didn't hesitate or take into consideration my views and invited them in for a "group viewing". I couldn't view the property at my leisure as I was stood in other rooms waiting for the other party to finish looking. When they left and I returned downstairs another 2 people attended. This was the final straw so I left. Poor professionalism, even worse advertisement for the property. I know the estate agents aren't accountable for a properties condition but you can't advertise something as "fully refurbished" when it clearly isn't.

I’ve been trying to call for 3 days now, I’ve also emailed and messaged them on Rightmove with no answer. Terrible first impression. It’s a real shame as we're ready to buy and they’ve got some great houses in Newton Le Willows.

Shambles of a company. Cohesion and desperation to move us into a property with black mould and damage throughout. False advertisement on RIGHTMOVE and refused to refund us as we signed the tenancy before seeing the property (went off pictures on rightmove where no black mould could be seen) landlord took our 1.6k so she can ‘fix the property’ in order to get new tenants in. They seem to think painting over black mould is how you fix it.

We found the staff, in particular Sean and Sasha to be both friendly and helpful in a professional manner.The viewing by Sean was carried out very quickly and the valuation was spot on. The documents that needed completing were mainly done by the very efficient Sasha who was relaxed and calm throughout. We did have to be a little patient with the Conveyor but apparently three to four months is the norm. All in all we strongly recommend Bridgfords , Newton Le Willows branch as a great place to sell your property.

I can’t speak highly enough of Sophie. She dealt with my purchase, and due to delays caused by parties outside of Bridgfords, there were times I thought my purchase wasn’t going to happen. Sophie was so helpful, always went above and beyond, nothing was ever too much trouble.
She completely understands the anxiety i experienced as a buyer and went out of her way to keep me updated and to reassure me. Sophie told to me ring her anytime, for absolutely anything, and it was obvious she meant it. She was friendly, approachable and very trustworthy. I felt in safe hands with her on side.
Sophie told me she was ‘just doing her job’ when I told her I appreciated all she was doing, but I disagree. I have had experience with various estate agents in the past, none of which gave me any reason to be dis-satisfied, but none of them compared to the way Sophie handled my purchase and communicated with me from beginning to end. She is definitely stand out.
Due to complications and deadlines that were against us towards the end, I genuinely believe my purchase would not have completed on time without all the hard work and commitment from Sophie. She worked so hard to make it happen. Thanks so much Sophie. I cannot recommend you enough.

This company is a ripoff they also run under the name of countywide letting.
They deduct all types of fees hoping you will not notice on the invoice they send you on Countywide bill heads.
I was renting houses out for meny years And can say without fear of contradiction that this is the worst company I ever deal with..!
Stay away from them very bad news company.
The reviews on there site are from falsely put there by people connected to the company or people contacted to the staff.

We spent several months in late 2018 and early 2019 trying to buy a house in Newton-le-willows. I had varying levels of contact with 6 local estate agents and Bridgfords stood out as being the only one to not only look after their sellers, but also take a real interest in us as buyers, proactively informing us twice of houses coming to market which they thought might be suitable (we bought the second one). They were helpful and responsive throughout the process and worked hard to resolve the differences between us and the sellers. Estate agents get a bad press but Bridgfords are not like the stereotype and I would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely TERRIBLE service, don't waste your time buying or selling through Bridgefords, they are the most unprofessional people I have ever come across!
Disappointing from start to finish! We should have realised from the start because when the woman came to value our house she thought it was ok to slag off their other customers calling one of them "Greedy" because she had valued their house at less than they put it up for sale for.
Then when we made an offer on another house we were not kept informed, only finding out that our offer had not been accepted when we drove past the house and saw the sold sign.
Then when I contacted them about this they told blatant lies, saying that we were informed that the house was already sold before we went to view! (Wouldn't have even viewed it if this was the case)
Very unprofessional, they tell you lies and then try to justify them with more lies. Don't waste your time/effort/money!

I am a customer of Bridgfords, Newton le Willows. I have purchased a few buy to let properties with them and also our family home and I am more than impressed with their services. From the start the level of customer service has been outstanding and every single one of the staff have been more than helpful in one way or another. John, Shaun, Stevie, Ashley and Caroline have been exceptional and I would highly recommend their services. John has been fantastic, he has found mortgages to suit us personally with competitive rates, always available at the end of a phone to give advice when needed, applying for a mortgage has never been so easy and stress free. Stevie and Shaun have been more than helpful with selling and purchasing properties, using their knowledge to give you the best advice on how to get the most out of properties, they have even worked out of hours to work around my schedule. Ashley and Caroline have also been fabulous, always friendly, helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. For me there is nothing better than a friendly, helpful service and that is certainly what you get. Reliable, honest,friendly and most importantly professional at all times. Would highly recommend.

We have recently sold our first home and bought our new house through Bridgfords in Newton Le Willows. The service we received as both sellers and buyers was very professional. The manager came to visit our property, took our information, photographs and measured our house and we had viewers within the first few days resulting in an agreeable offer shortly after. Stevie assisted us in finding our new home and although the purchase of our new house was not an easy transaction Stevie and Ashley were always on hand to deal with any difficulties quickly and effectively. Telephone calls were always returned promptly and as Stevie liased with all solicitors involved in our chain we were always kept updated. Many thanks to the staff in the office.
