We have sold numerous properties with them over the last few years and even the difficult ones have been made easier. Both Darryl and Pauline are quick to respond and help with queries and any issues along the sale or purchase process. Would recommend and use again.
28th Apr 2026 (8 days ago)Since I moved here 3 years ago i have had direct contact with Mandy boot, she has always been easy to talk to and has never made me feel uncomfortable to message her directly, any issues I report i have never doubted the work won’t be carried out and has never disappointed me and left me constantly chasing her, Mandy has always kept me updated on issues I have reported and had them dealt with quickly and efficiently, I have huge respect for mandy who takes her job seriously and goes above and beyond, mandy is a great asset to your team and the service, she is amazing and very reliable and ensures all jobs that has completed that I am happy and satisfied before closing my repair request.
13th Apr 2026 (23 days ago)Not a very good team of estate agents at all (though their incompetence meant I ended up getting my dream house with a different agency instead). They call you immediately after viewing a house to put in an offer, then play games with you (or encourage the seller to do so) and make you add on crazy amounts of money to the offer whilst playing you off against another buyer. They pretended to not answer our calls once we called to put in counter offers, and then blamed us for “not calling” (literally called multiple times on one day) and kept pushing us to add more money! It was an awful experience with them, causing us undue amount of stress, and I am glad I no longer bothered looking at their properties. In my dream house now so I guess it was good that they were so bad! 0/10 stars.

I have both bought and sold with Ashton, and every experience has been excellent. The team are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional, always dealing with any issues quickly and efficiently. Their email responses are prompt, communication is clear, and the whole process is made smooth and completely stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

28th Jan 2026 (14 weeks ago)Very unprofessional experience from start to finish. I initially trusted 222 Estates because they have many properties and they always answered the phone promptly. Unfortunately, that was where the professionalism ended. Most of the questions I asked could not be answered clearly, and when they did provide answers, they repeatedly failed to follow up with the emails I specifically requested. Important information was promised but never sent unless we chased them multiple times. Communication was disorganised and frustrating, and we were constantly left waiting for details that should have been provided proactively. Overall, the lack of follow-up and poor communication made the entire experience stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend 222 Estates if you value clear, reliable, and professional communication.

After a difficult experience with a previous estate agent who lacked professionalism, working with them was a breath of fresh air. From start to finish, they were supportive, responsive, and incredibly efficient. They kept everything moving smoothly and made what is usually a stressful process feel so much more manageable. Their communication was excellent, always keeping us updated and reassuring us every step of the way. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their dedication really showed in helping us finally complete on our home. If you’re looking for an estate agent team that genuinely cares and goes above and beyond, I cannot recommend them enough.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The level of customer service was excellent — any issues I had were dealt with promptly, and communication was always clear, especially around inspections. The team were consistently helpful, friendly, and quick to resolve anything that came up. Overall, a very professional and reliable service. I’d definitely recommend using this letting agency to anyone looking to rent a property.
