Never again!!!! All was fine in the beginning easy getting a property... But when was time to check out WOW we had to pay someone else's damages. Why? Coz the person who was checking the property when we were checking in didn't take proper photos and didn't include in the report some damages and when we had to check out a different person did the checkout and surprise in the report were the damages which were already in the flat. Hold on not just that £150 for cleaning an extractor and a bit of dust, after the flat was professionally cleaned. Just an advice make sure you guys double check when you get a property!... Alexander and co have been very helpful. I first contacted them in December 2018 to get some insight into their company. I needed some general advice about moving over agents. I found them thoroughly professional and even though it was so close to Christmas and very busy, I think a day before Christmas Eve they still had the time to give me exactly what I wanted. I have been dealing with Alison for about a month and her no nonsense attitude and direct but firm approach knowing how to handle difficult situations calmly is exactly what I was looking for in a professional. I also found Sophie very much on the ball and Christina very charming every time she answered the phone. In total I would highly recommend this agency who sincerely have time for their clients. Nothing is too big or too small for them to deal with. Finally one thing that really stood out that my elderly mother was impressed with was the respectful manner inwhich we were greeted and offered tea or coffee, although we declined it just made that right first impression . My previous agents never had the insight to be as courteous or respectfully never mind even asking us for a glass of water.... Read more

I think everyone knows what a pain it is to go through agencies nowadays as i feel that as the viewings can be such a rush and agents can be pushy and demanding. Alexander & Co is none of the above. I had a viewing with a young gentleman named Anass who has made such a huge difference to my perception on agents. His professionalism was second to none and i would just like to say a big thank you to him for making me feel like he cared about my opinion rather than just pushing an apartment on me. Christina Koutsouded- lettings negotiator so arrogant and dawnright rude behaviour, screamed on the phone couldn’t even listen or let me say a word was just shouted over the phone- could have just politely explain the viewing cancellation process or apologies. Had very bad experience about non disclosure of approved planning permission information. Because of which we ended-up spending on searches, valuation fees and legal fees which we would not have spent if we had this information before. Consumer Protection Regulations (and National Trading Standards Estate Agency Team) also prohibits the omission of material information provided to consumer if that omission could cause the consumer to take a transactional decision he would not have taken otherwise. I first used Baker Pearce 4 years ago as a tenant and I was impressed at how fair they were with us as tenants, as well as how they thoroughly protected the interests of the landlord. Sometimes hard to balance but they seem to do it with ease and courtesy. Unlike some agents I have used, Baker Pearce are straight-forward, honest, patient and professional. They are not smarmy as some other top-end agents can be but rather instead down to earth and genuinely helpful. After my good experience with them as a tenant, I subsequently used them as a landlord myself and I must say I wasn't disappointed with them. They do the job excellently without some of the b/s you can find with other agents. I hope Baker Pearce always stay this way, as I plan to use them for many years to come. ...After submitting this review I read some other reviews of Baker Pearce on this site and in one there were some unsavoury racial allegations made. I am not English myself but have to say that over the last 4 years I have dealt with at least 5 different members of staff of this company and I have never had the slightest inkling of any questionable behaviour or attitude, in fact far from it - they seem very decent people. I think it is only fair to mention this, as I guess they are unable to respond directly to such allegations themselves.... Read more

Over the last 20 years, my wife and I have purchased 4 buy to let properties through Baker Pearce, sold two of them and had Baker Pearce manage the rentals for all of them. As expatriates living in the middle east, we usually only had a limited window of time for viewing properties, often only 3 or 4 days. BP sent property details to us and were always prepared for our arrival with a variety of properties to view and people to advise us of their rental potential, etc. We were always successful in finding a suitable property even with such limited time. BP provided a very personal as well as professional service and always followed up right up to and beyond completion. Indeed as managing agents, on one occasion a BP employee's wife selected furnishings and fittings with which to furnish a property prior to renting, as we were already out of the country again! Thorough in vetting prospective tenants, we have never had a "bad" tenant and we have never had a sustained period without a tenant. Again, the service provided by BP is both professional and personal. We have been able to sleep easy knowing that our buy to let properties are in the best hands. Everything is taken care of for us and we cannot recommend BP too highly whether for finding a property for purchase or for managing the rentals.... Read more

Had a extremely ugly experiences with estate agent I went to see property on 29/10/2011 at barbany close in south harrow . Viewing of the property was arranged with sally rogues estate agent when i went there there was another white couple also waiting to view the property. First the estate agent came late from give time then secondly i was just complete ignored and total attention was given to white couple. When we came out property white couple didn't find impressive so they just walk off withut saying anything i was quiet interested in property and was also agreed to term and condition when i told sally estate agent that i am interested to rent this property (AS IF I WAS LOOKING FOR JOB NOT TO RENT A PROPERTY) she came out that she has put application to landlord for that and i was told will be informed in next day what landlord says well next two day passed didn't heart any thing so i finally called estate agent sally she told me that she has not heard anything from landlord but she will found out today after couple of hours she came with answer which i already new that landlord has not agreed. WELL MORAL OF STORY FOR ALL YOU COLOUR GUY IS ETHER U PAINT YOUR SELF OR DO ANYTHING TO TURN WHITE TO GET PROPERTY FROM THIS ESTATE AGENT .... Read more
