Unresponsive, rated very expensive nationally and wasteful financially. Terrible town planning and roadwork management. They prioritise town council house tenants who are loud and can't even look after a 1 metre square of front garden. They will charge full rate of council tax if you are unlucky enough to take ownership of a deceased family member's property which, ultimately, you are trying to sell on. DISGUSTING!... Read more

Asked customer Services what I thought was a very simple question and been passed from dept to dept to notts county, back to Bassetlaw and still have not got an answer. Some of the people I spoke to were very nice but some very rude, some training in customer relations needed here.... Read more

Complete utter rubbish. I think the customer service agents go through a crash course on how to be as rude as possible. Very unhelpful, it's taken me 2 calls to try and get my bin emptied as it was logged as 'not out' the first time I called when it's been out for days! The response I got was 'we will get to it as and when we can' what exactly am I paying council tax for if they can be arsed to empty the bloody bins!!!!... Read more

This council should be ashamed of themselves dearest council tax and don't even empty the bin because the lid was slightly open Threatened to take bin off customers who pay £40 some areas a blue bin is free Also charge for brown bin other councils do this free What an awful council to deal with...
