My experience with this estate agent is a negative one. They do not accept criticism despite one of their staff being rude and abrupt when I called regarding a property.

We were for sale 2 weeks before we received an offer.
We reduced the price in that time by £10,950! Which eventually secured the sale.
We don't normally use estate agents, but for this property,we did, as it was too good for auction.
We were fairly impressed and positive to start with, in the first week , we had numerous viewings, from a range of buyers,plus the usual fruitcakes.
We received mixed messages and not all dialogue proved factually correct but
we chose Mellor and Beer, purely because they are the unassuming underdog of Worksop estate agents.
We had, (all but two), agents in Worksop value our property.
Some of them had abysmal manners, some just plain rude.
The valuations raised from ridiculously low to well overpriced.
We initially agreed to go with quite a snotty one (how can they be ?- it is Worksop after all)!
With severe attitude problems. Whose staff need to treat people with respect, as opposed to contempt.
They actually 'sacked' us as clients, because we politely requested they spelt our surname correctly. Apparently ,we were 'over sensitive'.
Tell that to solicitors and legal teams .
Getting back to the point, Mellor and Beer are a 'safe pair of middle of the road hands .
I think they did ok, because they achieved a sale. They need to stop coming across as shocked when it happened. They are polite did what was expected of them, and nobody can ask for more than that. Also reasonably priced too. So thank you to the team.
