Matt went above and beyond to sell the property. Used lots of Estate Agents over the years, but never ever, have I used an Estate Agent as good as this. All the team kept me advised as well. And very reasonable fees, especially for all the hard work they went to.... Read more

Professional yet friendly from the beginning. The pictures and marketing was amazing from the outset. Despite dealing with the newest member of the team the majority of the time, I cannot fault him. He was always polite, friendly and helpful. I could have done with a little more advice on negotiating final price with buyers, but this was my inexperience.... Read more

If you are a landlord DO NOT USE THIS FIRM for your management. I'm a landlord and I asked for ByChoice to manage my property. In the time they have managed my property I have had 2 tenants and on both occasions ByChoice failed completely. First time I can understand but second time shows there is something fundamentally wrong with ByChoice. They take a management fee but I can assure you do not manage ANYTHING. Their quarterly inspection reports are an absolute joke - it is an email/document with a 1 word sentence advising that they visited and there is nothing to report. I can guarantee that they do not carry out any inspections as they have no idea what is going on at the property and the tenants do not see them. My first tenant decided not to pay rent and ByChoice didn't report this back to me until I reported it to them ----- apparently this is my fault and I should have reported earlier. Once the first tenant left, we obtained the next set of tenants as ByChoice was incapable of finding anyone and due to the experience of the first tenant as well as the fact I had no confidence in them actually inspecting my property I asked for photographic evidence which they AGREED TO. A year on and I have had no photographic evidence. When escalating the issue to the Director, Emma Turner, I was told that this again was my fault and we should have chased from the beginning which we had been via email so we have evidence of this. What tipped me over the edge is the fact that they started to use SCARE TACTICS with my tenant after I expressed my displeasure with their management. They told my tenant that I was going to raise the rent and also was looking to sell my property which left my tenant looking for a new home. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MALICIOUS TO SAY THE LEAST!
Emma Turner is the Director of this firm and honestly speaking is incapable and a disgrace to the Director title. Harsh as it seems she has no idea what is going on (I feel sorry for the inexperienced staff that work there as they are inexperienced/come across as they are inexperienced), unprofessional, doesn't return phone calls, doesn't stand by her commitments, doesn't stand by what her employees commit to, doesn't acknowledge failures even when there is evidence hitting her square in the face and worst of all, just fobs you off to the complaints department to avoid having to take any responsibility. Save yourselves the hassle and the management fee - I've definitely been paying for a non existent service for 2+ years.... Read more
