I’ve used Balmforth before and last time I was really happy with them. This time was not as positive an experience. First off they didn’t accurately value the property by quite a large margin, but as well as that I didn’t get the feeling they were being very proactive about selling my house. Also they should have been quicker to take remedial action (eg suggest we reduce the price) when it was clear from the viewing numbers something was wrong. Our house was quite a bit out of their area and I think this was the problem. I think for property local to Mildenhall they are good but anything more than 8/10 miles away could be more challenging for them.
