We sold a plot of land through Lewis after some initial input from Richard - they are both very knowledgeable and highly customer focused. It wasn't the most straightforward of circumstances given the current economic climate, but Lewis showed great resilience and achieved a great end result for us including the exact kind of buyers we could have hoped for. Thanks for all your help!

SUDBURY BRANCH.
Avoid at all costs.
Being a first timer buyer, no chain, we agreed to buy a bungalow for the asking price, the agent we were dealing with told us they would contact the owner and sort out the details but never got back to us.. Every time we rang for a update the agent we were dealing with (Olivia) was ‘out of the office’, but when I rang on a different phone number magically was in the office and answered the phone straight away.
We were told there had been a higher offer placed on the property we had agreed to buy for the asking price, but magically the property is still on the market but they have raised the asking price a extra £20,000..
We had to constantly ring daily to try and even get a update on what was going on. On one phone call we were also told by another member of staff, a week after our original offer to buy the property for the asking price, our offer had not yet been given to buy seller (even though we had been told it had been submitted), I have since found out this is actually illegal.
We were constantly misled with lies on who actually owned the property, one day it was a ‘trust’, then next it was a builder and a developer, then the next week a school.. We have since purchased a family home with another estate agent hassle free and months later have still not heard back from bychoice about our pending offer try to buy buying the property for the asking price.
UPDATE: Since leaving this review on Google, bychoice have been calling me, leaving messages 'to clear things up', shame they didn't put in this much effort when trying to sell a property.
At no point had we been told our offer had been declined. We were told 'we still cannot get a answer from the school, trust etc' until i checked the website and saw the property had gone up..

Recently purchased a house through bychoice and I have to say the service has been impressive to say the least. I work in the industry so it’s safe to say I have a certain expectation which I can say was exceeded without a doubt. Charlotte has been incredible from start to finish, she’s been in contact throughout and nothings seemed like too much effort given it wasn’t the most straightforward of transactions. She’s an absolute credit to your branch and business - 5 stars from me!

We bought our home through Bychoice, Elycia, and she was marvellous. She was very helpful, answering our questions and letting us access the house when we needed to measure rooms when we found out we had the house.

If you are a landlord DO NOT USE THIS FIRM for your management. I'm a landlord and I asked for ByChoice to manage my property. In the time they have managed my property I have had 2 tenants and on both occasions ByChoice failed completely. First time I can understand but second time shows there is something fundamentally wrong with ByChoice. They take a management fee but I can assure you do not manage ANYTHING. Their quarterly inspection reports are an absolute joke - it is an email/document with a 1 word sentence advising that they visited and there is nothing to report. I can guarantee that they do not carry out any inspections as they have no idea what is going on at the property and the tenants do not see them. My first tenant decided not to pay rent and ByChoice didn't report this back to me until I reported it to them ----- apparently this is my fault and I should have reported earlier. Once the first tenant left, we obtained the next set of tenants as ByChoice was incapable of finding anyone and due to the experience of the first tenant as well as the fact I had no confidence in them actually inspecting my property I asked for photographic evidence which they AGREED TO. A year on and I have had no photographic evidence. When escalating the issue to the Director, Emma Turner, I was told that this again was my fault and we should have chased from the beginning which we had been via email so we have evidence of this. What tipped me over the edge is the fact that they started to use SCARE TACTICS with my tenant after I expressed my displeasure with their management. They told my tenant that I was going to raise the rent and also was looking to sell my property which left my tenant looking for a new home. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MALICIOUS TO SAY THE LEAST!
Emma Turner is the Director of this firm and honestly speaking is incapable and a disgrace to the Director title. Harsh as it seems she has no idea what is going on (I feel sorry for the inexperienced staff that work there as they are inexperienced/come across as they are inexperienced), unprofessional, doesn't return phone calls, doesn't stand by her commitments, doesn't stand by what her employees commit to, doesn't acknowledge failures even when there is evidence hitting her square in the face and worst of all, just fobs you off to the complaints department to avoid having to take any responsibility. Save yourselves the hassle and the management fee - I've definitely been paying for a non existent service for 2+ years.
