What a disappointing company this is .Their approach is brash and without any integrity whatsoever . The public expect open honest and transparency in this day and age .In fact most companies will have policies on this .Shame on you CJ Residential for not having up to date approach . It is very surprising for an agent to book clients to view a property to let , arranges time etc. and lets them down an hour before the viewing . The company policy clearly is " let it quickly and don't bother to honour arrangements made " Not smart . The most surprising thing of all is the female I dealt with had not either empathy or any apology to offer despite knowing I had made a 300 mile round trip for this viewing .... Read more

Appalling lettings agent! Made a 150 mile trip to view a property because I couldn't apply remotely without a live viewing. Viewing was rescheduled 1 hour before it was due to happen...which wasn't a problem. Arrived at the address and agent didn't show up because property had been let! Complete waste of time and unprofessional.... Read more

Out of the five letting agencies that I have ever used, this is by far the worst. I would definitely not recommend these agents to any property seekers or prospective landlords. My private landlord was excellent but unfortunately the letting agency made mistakes throughout the entire letting process: • The agent that showed me around the property prior to my tenancy start date could not answer that basic questions that I was asking about the property. • The documents that the agency asked me to complete were wrong. I had to go back into the office several weeks after my tenancy began to sign updated documents because 'the law has been updated'. As a compliance consultant, it is quite clear to me that it is not possible for laws to be updated entirely within 3 weeks; the agent that prepared the documents had obviously just asked me to sign outdated documents without checking them. • The standing order for my rent payments was not completed properly. A few days after my first rent payment I received a rude email from the staff saying that I need to pay my rent directly to the landlords bank account and not the letting agencies bank account. It was the letting agency that set-up the standing order from my bank account using the form that I had signed; the agent had simply entered the wrong bank details of the receiver. • My tenancy contract states that my deposit, or a sum of the deposit, was to be returned within 9 days. The law states that it must be returned within 14 days. I waited 39 days before I received my deposit back and this only occurred because I pursued the actions with my solicitor (costing me time and money). The staff a rude and and arrogant despite making constant mistakes on their end.... Read more

An utter disgrace this company. They will have their benefit as a priority and any time you need help, they will turn you down, that this is not their job(yes it is), or they not managing the property(yes they are) or just go to the landlord. I would rather move under a bridge, than to be housed with them again.... Read more
