First off I would of selected no stars but can't, these are the worst 'letting agents' I have ever dealt with. They are rude and will not listen, they have no time for tenants, only for the landlords. Very incompetent and unprofessional, the maintenance side is a complete joke, when and if when they do complete the work it will be carried out to substandard level. Forget getting your deposit back, you will be charged for cleaning even if the property is clean, they picked up on dust inside radiators!!??? Please avoid at all costs or be very careful and record every mark etc or they will charge you for damage that was already there.
We had a great experience with Kingstons from start to finish. They managed to sell our house in a matter of weeks, then helped us to negotiate on our new home. Best of all, the after sales service to progress the sale through to completion was a smooth, efficient and stress free experience. Would definitely recommend.
A very helpful bunch as this was the first time selling a house through sad circumstances. They were understanding, and explained everything in detail which was helpful. I wasn't local at all, and they were great on the couple of occasions where I asked them to pop round just to make sure everything was okay, and also towards completion they took meter readings for me which was really helpful and saved me a very long trip!
The sale itself took ages, and there were a few times where there were minor delays in communication and responses on things, but overall Kingstons were great and I'd recommend to anyone in the area.
An overall excellent experience so far, after having the upset of the previous purchased property fall through, Kavanaghs helped me through the process of purchasing my very first home, keeping me updated every step of the way.
RENTERS BEWARE: Dont care that much about tenants once they have got you in a contract. Took ages to sort problems / reply to emails. Would not fix radiators / sockets in our house. allowed the landlord to inspect the property when we were not present and without warning. very vague check in report, very detailed / pedantic check out report. After agreeing to deposit deductions 4 weeks ago we have still not received our deposit back.
