I've found Kavanagh's to be friendly, professional, and competent estate agents.
Particularly Gemma has been extremely helpful, including answering all of my silly questions and in so doing making the flat buying process a little less intimidating.

We had an brilliant experience with Kavanaghs. Great communication at all times and felt supported during some tricky negotiations involving solicitors. Excellent advice given by Paul, while Kirsten (in particular) and Gemma were always on hand, knowledgeable and made us confident we were in safe hands. Had some awful experiences with other agents playing games in this market so it was a relief to find a business we could trust.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because you cant leave a zero. Worse estate agents with ever. Maintenance manager is an absolute jobs worth. Waited months to have a boiler fixed and the attitude when I chased it up was nothing short of disgusting. Had a frosty relationship with them due to things always going wrong in the flat and I was always chasing them up. Its no surprise or coincidence that I was conned out of my deposit - due to covid restrictions I couldn't be at the check out and small damages that were not there before appeared out of nowhere. They zoomed in on the pictures and the TDS (another corrupt company took there side) They are also all buddies with the cleaning companies and they managed to get them to lie on the invoices. Say clear of this god awful company.

The absolute worst estate agent I've had the misfortune of dealing with. Repairs were drawn out and only completed after several chases. Filthy house when we moved in. Don't keep records of your conversations - so get EVERYTHING in writing or they will con you out of your deposit. Disgraceful service.

We were extremely happy with the service we received from Kavanaghs. We met with 3 estate agents before we made a decision on who to appoint, and we felt that we gelled well with the team from Kavanaghs; and they were very sympathetic to our situation. We had a couple of problems when we were trying to sell our house and Kavanaghs always came up with constructive and positions solutions to help resolve our problems. Clearly, it is their job to sell properties but we felt they went over and above in the service they gave to us. It was a seamless service and when one of the team wasn't available, there was always someone else who could help. I would happily recommend Kavanaghs to anyone wanting to sell a property.

Kavanaghs went above and beyond to keep me informed with my house purchase with them, having to do Connells, my agents job for them as the chain would of broke on several occasions due Connells poor communication, Sophie at Kavanaghs kept everything thing together. I can’t praise them enough for all the good work they have done and will highly recommend them in future.

Kavanaghs Estate Agents found a buyer quickly. But did little more in the way of actual communication or chase all parties in the chain despite my numerous requests. I got the impression some staff at Kavanaghs do not fully understand their job and need more training, they are paid a lot of money to sell a property and need to actually do some work to earn it, our sale took 17 weeks!!! In over 14 property transactions this is by far the slowest and in my opinion not helped effectively by Kavanaghs. I would never use this agent again and DO NOT recommend them, they do not appear to understand good communication or customer relations, find another estate agent DO NOT use Kavanaghs!!!!

RENTERS BEWARE: Dont care that much about tenants once they have got you in a contract. Took ages to sort problems / reply to emails. Would not fix radiators / sockets in our house. allowed the landlord to inspect the property when we were not present and without warning. very vague check in report, very detailed / pedantic check out report. After agreeing to deposit deductions 4 weeks ago we have still not received our deposit back.

An overall excellent experience. From the moment we first contacted Kavanaghs to get a valuation through to a successful sale, all the staff we came across were very helpful and professional. We were constantly updated on the sales activities and once a buyer was found they maintained an active involvement. If you are looking for a professional approach to your house sale then I'd recommend Kavanaghs every time.

Having moved a number of times over the years I can honestly say that these are the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with.
Used old photos even after we said we wanted new ones taken,sending wheelchair users around - EVEN THOUGH WE HAD ALREADY WORKED OUT THAT IT WASN'T APPROPRIATE FOR THEM FROM A PREVIOUS VIEWING, updating us with other peoples' viewings,not telling us people had cancelled viewings - AFTER WE HAD TAKEN TIME OFF WORK TO BE THERE.
Amazed they are still in business and no wonder people now sell using online agents. What a shambles!!!!!
