Female ran estate agents who are very friendly and down to earth. I liked that they listened to how we wanted the house to be photographed and also were open on sale price suggestions, the other advantage is that they have the footfall of Formby village, as well as on Right Move - unlike any other agents which are in Southport. This agent sold our house at above the asking price, unlike any Southport agent who started with lower valuations . Going with this agent gave us around 30k extra on sale price in the end. Communication was great as they use what’s app and are quick on replies.

I recently sold my house and made an onward purchase through Colette Gunter's. I had a few local estate agents out to value my home, of which, Gunter's valued my home the highest (the realistic price I expected). They are an established Formby business, who have a lot of valuable local knowledge. They rely on this local knowledge rather than antiquated sales techniques during a period when the market is slower than usual. All members of staff were easy to talk to, helpful, friendly and hard working. No hints of bluntness or condescending tone, which seemed commonplace at some other estate agents during my house hunt. I completed my onward move within 6 weeks, which is testament to the hard work and professionalism of this estate agents.

The agent assigned to helping us was very friendly and very helpfu. However the manager was more abrupt I was met in the hall and told I needed to reduce my selling price by £20k which was a lot on a original price set by the manager of £235k.
On consideration I decide to change agent who thought the property was worth more than £235k but it was now difficult to up the price.

Terrible. The worst estate agent I ever dealt with. They were rude and nasty from the beginning. Could not be bothered to help and didn’t make any effort to do viewings. They have a ‘DONT CARE’ attitude. My house only had 2 viewings in 8 months. When I put my house with another agent it sold within 1 month. Which goes to show how bad and unprofessional they are. I would give zero stars if I could!

A poor experience. This agent secured very few viewings of the property, averaging only one per month for the 6 months it was on the market with them. When we changed agents, the new agent secured viewings by 8 different parties in 3 weeks, resulting in 2 offers. We would not recommend Colette Gunter.
