***DO NOT INSTRUCT ABODE TO SELL YOUR HOME***I spent six long hard months during covid19 Lockdown refurbishing my property. I called abode requesting a valuation it took them the best part of the day to contact me ,I spoke with S...n and explained the circumstances as to how I purchased the property and exactly what I have done to improve its condition .The agent abode were formally instructed to sell this property from the previous vendor back in October 2019 but were unsuccessful in selling it. I then purchased it from the vendor in March 2020. I explained all this to abode. I was shocked to see they re-launched the property this afternoon on Zoopla with the old shots at the old price, as I spoke them at 5.30pm this must have been the last thing they did before leaving the office for the evening. This was done without my authority and knowledge. I know realise why they never sold it in the first place, totally unprofessional and very petty . If they think this will change anything they are wrong in fact if anything it will only strengthen my position. I would give them a wide birth if I was looking to place my valuable assets on the open market, there is always an other agent.... Read more
