This is my review of Pete the part time telehandler. I arrive on site with a delivery, to find a unmanned telehandler parked at an angle across the gate. It's boom raised and left in a pile of pallets. After ten minutes of waiting a van arrives with a man clutching sandwiches, crisps and coke. He snears as he walks past, then disappears. After another wait, I am waved into the site and told to wait again. As the guy who had just walked past, was the telehandler buying his lunch and now eating it. I wait for 50 minutes, as Pete the telehandler eats his lunch. Finally, he decides to unload me. Firstly, he gets angry when I ask him to be a banks an, then almost reversed into my lorry without using his mirrors. Afterwards, the bricklayers told me he's been there for four years! Yet they can't complain because he'll stop lifting bricks upto them. I've been to alot of building sites and this guy is the worse telehandler I've ever met. To cap it all, he's created no turning space, so I have to reverse over a hundred metres without his help. If I get another delivery for this site, I'll unload them myself at the gate. No wonder there's a shortage of houses, Pete is on the telehandler.... Read more

We saw this development as a chance to live on the edge of a town full of character, surrounded by the beautiful Pewsey Vale, in the middle of Wiltshire. Transport links are good, motorway and rail links are no distance. David Wilson are a 5 star builder, the house we bought is noticeably of a better build quality than our previous house, built five years ago by a national builder. We are very pleased with the layout of our house, and the position of it not being too overlooked by neighbours. As with all new houses, there is some snagging to be done, but the benefits of living in a new, efficient, thoughtfully designed house are brilliant. The site enjoys several acres of grassland, a play area and a wood, with the Kennet and Avon canal on the south side, offering plenty of walking. David Wilson’s staff have been excellent, from the senior site manager to the sales staff, including all the sub-contractors, have been attentive, caring and helpful in allowing us create our dream home. Being a new site, our neighbours are friendly and inclusive. We have no personal connection with the company, but love our house and location.... Read more
