Finding the right estate agent is a bit like finding the right life partner. Buying, Selling, finding a tenant, finding a tenancy - 4 hugely emotionally charged times.
In an agent, I want the person who complements me. Who does the chasing calls to solicitors, tenants, landlords, who keeps the other parties active. I want someone who does the tough talking and keeps me updated. I also want someone who understands that
all sets of relationships are important.
I want to be given "todo"s and be told when to stop. And when I'm emotional, fraught, worrying etc, I want a bracing 5 min chat to reset me.
Thanks to the team: I've now sold my house and just wish that I was buying through Simon.
In summary - Simon and the team do communication really well and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Extremely rude! I called for a virtual viewing and she told me no and switched off on my nose! You really need to check human skills of your employees before hiring them! So bad!

I’ve been renting through Donald Carters for over a year on two different property’s and have always dealt with Sue for both of these and she has been amazing every time. She is always very attentive and helpful with any issue. Unfortunately I have now moved away from the Warwick area so will no longer have the pleasure of having Sue to look after me as a tenant. She is an asset to Donald Carter, thank you Sue!

Dreadful experience as a buyer. We booked to view a property with the agent, which they agreed, but then said they couldn't honour it, so we chose a different day after work, about 5pm because of work commitments. No issue at this point. When we get there, Donald Carter himself, the face of the firm, was the agent. Very strange experience, he didn't seem to want to properly greet us - walking past my partner without saying anything, let alone look us in the eye; he didn't want to speak about the house either. He was muttering something to himself about why would anyone want to view a property in the dark, right in front of us. You may want to concentrate more on how you come across rather than how dark it is if you care about the viewing experience; also remember that you reneged on the original booking time and you agreed to the new time. We didn't place a bid out of principal because of him and I feel sorry for anyone using him to sell their house.

Recently looked to rent via this estate agent and found them quite rude and condescending. Unlike other estate agents who could not do enough to support. Disappointing.

I was unfortunate to arrange 2 property viewings with Donald Carter & Partners. On both occasions the unnamed agent was dismissive, rude and oozed an air of arrogance. The on site agent remains unnamed as she didn't once attempt to introduce herself. No small talk, no sales pitch and apparently no ability to use common social graces. The properties were of a good standard, but when asked if the properties would be managed by either the landlord or the estate agents, I was put-off to hear that the agents would be managing. Calls to the agency have been rude and arrogant and the on site agent was so dismissive, I can't imagine renting a property from these agents and expecting their staff to respect they're clients, not alone respond to tenant inquiries.

Simon Carter was the estate agent managing our recent house purchase and he could not have done a better job. Nothing was too much trouble, he was incredibly supportive, and most importantly, when necessary, he knew how to get the job done.
I wouldn't use any other estate agent. Simon comes highly recommended.

Despite sending emails they do not read them or respond. Arranged a viewing for a certain time and agreed on the phone with them. Recieved no details of the exact address. On arrival could not find the house as no sign outside either. Rang the agent and they said they had left because they had a different time in their calendar. Poor organisation and communication. Recieved no apologies or attempts to rearrange the viewing. Feel sorry for anyone trying to sell their home with them as buyers cannot view the properties. Would not recommend them.

After a conversation with Mr Carter himself I found him to be quite abrupt and rude after making mistakes within there office with a very bad attitude. I would never look at properties with them ever again and I would give them some valuable advice as a team “communication is key” ! I would suggest people read the reviews before looking at properties with them !!

I would highly recommend Donald Carter and Partners. They assisted in both the sale and purchase. They provided a first class service, escorted all viewings and gave feedback on all prospective purchasers. Simon's knowledge of the local market is exceptional. If you want a professional and friendly estate agent look no further.

Excellent service from Simon. As a seller not living nearby, I greatly valued the extra service he gave in attending to things at the house. We went through a number of buyers due to different issues and Simon never gave up. I would definitely recommend for a great local service
