As a landlord I am so glad I chose Duffins Estate agents . A highly professional, supportive and friendly team from the outset. They have guided me through the necessary steps and I feel very much at ease leaving everything in their clearly capable hands. All requests and queries have been responded to and dealt with very quickly and to a high standard. Many thanks to sonia. I would absolutely highly recommend! Update - after multiple properties let, my opinion hasn't changed. Duffins. have certainly proved they both talk and walk the walk! This was the 1st time I have use Duffins Estate / letting agents . I would highly recommend this property service as they are very through, professional and a pleasure to deal with. From start to finish, the process was effortless and they took care of every aspect of my needs. With all do respect, coming to reply after a year and saying you don't have me in your database! I was renting for 3 years with you, rent on time. Never asked for anything! the only time we needed your support when the flat got infested by mice from flat above! M6 wife lived in fear calling you everyday to advise us who is responsible to help and she was sick! You didn't even give us info about council services! We paid £300 for a private exterminator who failed to get rid of them! And thankfully it was towards end of our tenancy were you added insult to wound and wanted to repaint the flat in our expense saying that the mold that we tried hard to coean although not our fault is our fault! Worst service ever and never felt this disrespected and let down... Read more

I contacted Duffins regarding a flat I was interested in renting. After my initial viewing and confirming I was interested in the property I was constantly promised phone calls back and/or e mails to keep me updated. During about a 4 week period, of the 10 or so times I was promised a call back, I received 2. The phone line more often than not is routed to the answering machine and all round the service I received was totally unprofessional. I'm in the process of selling my house and the service I've received from my estate agents is the polar opposite of what I experienced with Duffins. I'll never use them again, I'll tell my friends and family never to bother with them and anyone else that will listen. Bottom line - if you promise to call someone, then call them, it's the bare minimum you should be doing. TERRIBLE SERVICE.... Read more

Sonia went above and beyond to get the sale tied up and progressed the sale in an extremely efficient manner. She organised surveys and solicitors on my behalf and the sale completed within 6 weeks. I own my own estate agents so I know the difficulties in letting out properties. Sonia and her team do an excellent job managing my portfolio. It takes the stress away from me not being able to do it myself with being based down south. My void periods are always kept to a minimum and the inventories (although paid extra service) are worth every penny. Worst Estate Agent going. Couldn't rent a property if someone else moved them in for them! These guys are only interested in money! Shocked and disgraced by the degrading service I received. I left 2 months allowance time to assist because I understand how busy people are these days but you guys just take the utter piss. They still haven't filled the property. April 2013 - My wife and I rented the property located at 22 Bankside BB2 3TB, Blackburn from Benchmark Estate Agents right after Sonia Duffin had just bought it. April 2015 - My wife asked Sonia Duffin if she would remove my name off of the lease contract. Sonia declined and instead ended the lease 3 months earlier than it was due. May 2015 - I visited Duffin’s Estate Agents. We came to the agreement that she would let me stay at the property until the end of the original lease if I could pay the rent up-front, which I did (£1900) June 2015 - I let Sonia know that I was ready to hand over the property key and asked if I could get a refund to which Sonia agreed. July 31st 2015 - I texted Sonia on WhatsApp my cellular number and she said that new tenants are moving to the property next Tuesday (August the 7th) and stated ‘so I should have a refund for you’. October 13th 2015 - Sonia claimed she had lost my number and requested I resend her the bank details ‘for the rent refund’, which I did AGAIN. November 9th 2015 – Sonia stated she ‘has problems with your phone and still has no bank details’ from me, suggesting I should email them to her, which I did, AGAIN. November 25th 2015 - Sonia emailed me stating ‘I have sent the payment a couple of times, however it has bounced back’. This time, I suggested to Sonia using Western Union as a means of transferring the refund. December 16th 2015 - I emailed Sonia with all details AGAIN, and got no reply whatsoever. December 29th 2015 - Tried to call Sonia’s cellular phone only for the call to be rejected. January 18th 2016 - I texted the official Duffin’s number on WhatsApp, explaining the whole story briefly and requesting that someone contact me back. Received no response. May 2019 - I emailed Duffin’s at their official email address requesting someone contact me. AGAIN, no response. May 30th 2019, I called Duffin’s landline, and Sonia was not available. Her dad picked up and showed total understanding to the situation when I explained it for him, promising that Sonia would call me back. Never happened. June 11th 2019, I called Duffin’s landline AGAIN only to be diverted to a recorded message so I left my name and number for someone to come back to me, to no avail. Today, June 13th 2019, I decided to leave this here for others to read between the lines as a review and warning for everyone to see. FOUR years today and I have not received a penny of the 1900 quid I handed over to Sonia as rent for a property in a country I departed. A property, which was re-rented while my lease was still valid. I kept a record of every single text and email between myself and Duffin’s and will be more than happy to email them to whomever doubts the credibility of the above-mentioned events.... Read more
