Attempted to arrange a viewing, called a few times "no answer". Had to go to the office to arrange viewing. Put offer in requested to be informed if it gets rejected for an opportunity to revise if required, no calls recieved called multiple times for an update to speak to speak to some1 again no answer. Had to go the office again to put forward a revised offer and email in writing to make sure recieved by sellor. Offer accepted, waiting months to get the paperwork sorted. Completion date confirmed, went to the property 1 last time for the vacant property it still had furnature and rubish, asked the manager in person if and when this will be removed response was "seller cant remove it right now she not here is she!", fair enough but didnt have to answer in this manner. Had to wait another week or so as sellors paperwork wasnt in order which was wholey avoidable. As the buyer felt very much dissapointed with the months of delay overall costing me time, effort and money in opportunity loss. Seen other properties come on the market after this one with other estate agents, sold with all paperwork go through before this one finalised. I didnt know who i was being messed about by Managers attidude at the last minute after chasing for months was very much if you dont want it ill put it back on maket, and line up other offers which was dissapointing. On a more possative note the sale did finally go through, and although the telephone communication was hit and miss mainly miss at the start, the email comms from Thayf was better. This was just my experiance others may have had a much better one.

Made an enquiry a few days ago on a property. Wanted to arrange a viewing, was told I will get a callback. Got a callback today and instead of arranging the booking, got told about 7 different ways I’d get charged if I got outbid on the property for different fees by Megan. Not even seen the house yet let alone make an offer. Not sure if the staff know how a house purchase process works if I’m honest.

Put an over the asking price offer in the same day we viewed a property and they never bothered to get back to us whether it had been accepted or not. Not good service at all for seller or buyer. I'm not convinced they've even passed it on to the seller. Would not recommend

I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of two outstanding estate agents who both work for Bridgefords Estate Agents in Blackburn. Our first interaction was with Brian. Brian showed us around a beautiful property for sale. Brian greeted us with a warm smile, and throughout the viewing Brian was friendly, caring, he went over and above his role to ensure I was comfortable viewing the property. We left the property so much more happier, not only because the property was perfect for us, but also because we had the privileged opportunity to have met such a friendly, professional, caring and accommodating estate agent Brian.
Our next face to face interaction was with Scott from Bridgefords, Blackburn. Scott came to our home in order to complete a market appraisal, and speak to us with regards to putting our current property on the market. Scotts appointment at ours, was far from anything he had probably encountered before. However, Scott rose to the challenge and displayed professionalism and understanding throughout the meeting with myself. He then had to view our home on his own in order to appraise. Overall our experience with Bridgefords Estate Agents Blackburn has been one of excellence. Both Brian and Scott made me feel comfortable in their company, they did not pity or talk down to me (this I experience a lot!). Both were respectful and understanding. In the past few years we have dealt with many Estate Agents, and from personal experience I have to say Brian and Scott are both exemplary employees, a real asset to Bridgefords Estate Agents.
We as a family, want to say a big “THANK YOU” to both Brian and Scott, for being their wonderful selves. I do hope that you both receive some sort of recognition from Bridgefords, for your brilliant work ethic, and being able to work excellently in any given situation ????.

So I did a PX with Barrett Homes and they chose these clowns,to sell my house, so far, I have had weekly phone calls, the new buyer wants to measure to carpet, bring a joiner round, wanted to send the new buyer round unaccompanied, Barrett's don't even own my home to sell yet...

We recently dealt with Bridgfords when buying a property in Accrington, the agent who initially showed us round was Ty - Thayf Ullah, from the minute we met him and saw the house our experience was 100% positive. He chased up loose ends, kept us updated at every stage and was polite and helpful from start to finish, and at no point was he pushy; as some agents can be. My partner & I are first time buyers, and largely have no idea what we're doing. From our first viewing to the legal stages Bridgfords (Blackburn) have been amazing. Sue showed the property. She had great local knowledge, was enthusiastic without ever being overbearing & allowed us space to explore - we felt like we were being supported, rather than marketed to. After submitting and having an offer accepted, both Paul and Sue have helped lead us through the process - answering questions where needed, explaining timetables & generally being available and helpful - which has been hugely refreshing after dealings with some other agents. Whilst we haven't moved in / completed everything yet - I have no hesitation recommending this particular branch of Bridgfords to anyone.

AVOID!!! Had a valuation booked for 3pm today… when nobody turned up at 3:20 we rang the office and no answer. We got a call back at 3:30 for an agent to tell us due to sickness they are short staffed and wanted to book a valuation for us on another day. Absolute time wasters. We took time off work for nothing. At least have the decency to let people know the appointment won’t be going ahead!!

Bridgfords listed two of our properties for sale at the same time and got offers on both properties, on the same day and offers exceeded our expectations which was brilliant for us.
They booked numerous people in for viewings on the same day which was very convenient. They always gave timely, detailed feedback from viewings and going forward the whole team at Bridgfords worked very hard for our family to ensure we exchanged and completed timely, I think going above and beyond chasing buyers and solicitors. The excellent communication from Bridgfords and the rapport we had established made the whole process a lot easier.

Absolutely terrible . Their solicitors have dragged the exchange on to the point we are month past agreed completion dead line and now facing more costs and possible homelessness cause I have to be out this property at end of this week . Never ever go with this agency ever they will take your money and cost you nothing but more money and time . As it continues I am utterly stuck with no end in sight as these abstract lute scam artists have held up the process for so long it is now costing the seller aswell as myself money every month. I repeat never use these slum agents ever . They will take your money and put you through stress ,financial quigmire and pretend like they never heard from you previously when you finally get one of the on the phone .

I really recommend using Bridgefords when buying a house. We recently purchased a property and Lorraine has been brilliant from start to finish.
We were informed throughout the entire process exactly what was happening and kept up to date - which was the solicitors job but unfortunately whilst we had a few issues, Lorraine ensured there was no stress and reassured us the whole way that she was chasing up solicitors on our behalf. She went out of her way to make sure things were getting done on both sides in a swift manner to avoid delays and answered all the questions we had.
The day we got the keys, Sue went out of her way to drop the keys off to our house with a little gift box full of goodies and vouchers that we will definitely be using!
It made the entire experience extra special and I truly appreciated their service.

Bridgfords Blackburn sold both of our houses for us at the same time when we decided to buy a new build together. We accepted offers on both within a week of instructing Bridgfords to sell them. Sue and the team were great from start to finish. All we had to do was meet them at the property, fill in a few simple forms, produce some ID, give them a key and they did the rest. The agents at Bridgefords are good, but unfortunately their partnership with Countrywide (their lawyers) make them extremely ineffective in their jobs.
This CASH purchase took nearly 5 months to complete, and this huge delay was entirely due to their appalling (or overworked?) legal team.
If Bridgefords are to be an effective estate agents, they absolutely must sever their ties to this appalling group of charlatans.
I am very happy with my new house but extremely unhappy with the way it was handled by Bridgefords. I will be avoiding doing business with them in the future unless major changes are made.

absolutely shocking, gave a offer for a house over 3 weeks ago kept ringing them they kept me on the edge, today rang them they told me they got a higher offer today if you give a higher offer we will definitely accept today wow these guys a crooks, I should have known better after reading the reviews, still gave them benefit of doubt but these guys are pure crooks totally unprofessional stay away from them won't be surprised if the didn't them the owners about the offer in the first place, if you do deal with them (whice is not recommended) communicate via email.

Worst experience ever!! The staff are absolutely unprofessional after making an major error with with having two buyers on one property the manager sue did not even want to speak to us no explanation had been given like the reviews beneath state i would have given -1 for customer service there had been no contact what so ever on the rejection of sale and our poor solicitor had not been advised to stop further proceedings if we did not book a viewing and end up at the house we would not have known of the other buyer even existed.. over all poor illmanered staff buyers beware especially first time buyers like our selfs very disappointed!!

Would leave 0 stars if we could! We were selling our house with them, never again and would not recommend to anyone! Staff, especially the manager, is very rude, lying and manipulating, and, constantly ignoring emails! They were very rude to our buyers as well.. bizaar, how manipulative and cheeky these people at Bridgfords can be!! We almost lost our buyers after some lies, (we know that because we stayed in touch with our buyers who came to our house for a chat after Bridgfors refused to give our phone number and told some lies too, they didn't want to loose our house so they came to us personally to check if the things Bridgfords told them are true), we nearly pulled out ourselves as we got so fed up at some point to be treated like a dirt by these people that we pay huge money to simply sell the house!!

More interested in selling you a mortgage than helping you buy a house. "The seller wants more money... come to our office so we can do a mortgage review and help you get a better rate for a higher purchase. Without this you cannot even view the house" avoid like the plague. I am a cash buyer. They would have known if they asked. Stupid and commission driven as opposed to service driven.

Radicals service, I been waiting 3 weeks my offer (asking price ) to be accept then "someone" offer more apparently with no any proof and without nobody to contact me , then I was told yesterday "if you offer the same we will advise the seller to accept your offer, then today I was told I have to offer more and when I ask why they become rough and shut me the phone !!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
Be careful they are trying to keep you waiting until they get more money (more commission)

I was looking to sell my house and received good honest service from everyone involved including the mortgage advisor. Although I didn't end up putting my house up for sale due to personal circumstances I will certainly use them should this change in the future.

From the initial contact right through to sale Bridgefords were very professional and kept me up to speed with feedback and how the sale was progressing from the vendor's side especially Linda at the Preston office. Everyone at the Blackburn office did a brilliant job in getting the sale and viewings in which a previous estate agent failed miserably.
Also advised on how best to show the house and dress it up so that it appealed to buyers.

I was really impressed with the proactive approach and responsiveness. I have a busy life and the team seemed to take away all the 'hassle' factor of selling my previously rented property in Blackburn away. This was brilliant as I'd had previous bad experiences and was dissolusioned. I got a really positive attitude from everyone I dealt with, yet not OTT, and they were always seeking feedback and asking if there was anything more they could do (or suggesting options) and tailoring things to suit me eg emailing/texting rather ringing me or ringing a times which fit in with me, not office hours. Excellent service all in all with a happy ending!
