Hadnt sold a property before via auction and Lisa and Martin answered all my questions and were always therw to take calls. Regarding Meadowbrook rise houses....
Previously they were langdale homes and Meadowbrook rise management, opulwood homes .
They work with different names to fool people.
Houses are extremely poor build quality with hundreds of major issues...
Save your health and money.
Don't buy any property at Meadowbrook rise development.

We bought a house in Darwen through Crown Estate Agents. The house buying process threw up a number of challenges but Lisa went above and beyond in her support throughout. She was always available, always helpful, and when things were difficult gave excellent advice. I was so grateful for her help over the whole time, she really made a positive difference, helped me get over the line in time for my deadline and also waited in the office for me on the final day when I was held up in traffic after driving for hours. The process of renting the property was quite effecient. Agency acted in timely manner and we did not have to wait long to get the keys. Agency responded to any reported issues quite swiftly throughout our tennancy. However, the landlord's negligence and lack of willingnes to repair reported issues in timely manner reflects rather poorly on agencie's capability to take care of tennants in the best possible manner. Despite that fact the agency left a good impression and I can recommend their services.

It's been 20 years since we last sold a house and Crown Estates guided us through all the way to make it as stress free as possible. My partner had used Crown for the sale of her property a few years ago.and recommended them to me. I liked Martin from the offset he wasn't your normal pushy estate agent and I had a figure in mind for my property. He gave me a fair figure for both the sale and conveyancing and after taking lots of pictures the house went live. I had viewers within 2hrs of the board going up and got the full asking price. Lisa who works for Crown estates was excellent and kept me informed of evey little bit of information and she even helped with the purchase of my new home even though it was not for sale by Crown. Their are cheaper options but moving house is very stressful and I would recommend using Crown its not worth the aggro selling a house yourself or through a online only site like purple bricks or strike. Thankyou Lisa Martin and all.the staff at Crown.

They will pick up your calls straight away when you have a house you want to give on rent but then any issues with late rent payment and Francine is nowhere to be seen as is to busy to answer the phone 24/7. Very unprofessional blatant liars these guys need to be investigated asap. They don't do decent credit checks and will give your house to anyone

Wanted to buy a house on rosewood avenue it was advertised on there site but they did not let me view the property even though it had just been listed on right move. Well in the end it was sold to a close associate of Martins!!! Stay away from them if selling or buying a house they will not get you the best price!

where do i start.... Gave them a house to rent as they were the cheapest in terms of % charged. But they were very unprofessional. Francine is impossible to get hold of when there is a problem with unpaid rent! Doesn't return calls for weeks on end. AVOID like the plague

Forget purple bricks!
We had a visit from Martin to value our property in February and because of the service we received, the advice given by all the team at Crown Estate, especially Lisa (who is akin to family now) we have a buyer, agreed a price and are on the way to completion.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this team to any of my friends. They, and Pattinsons, have been professional and informative throughout the process. Lisa has also been a boon with informal chats and reassurance - A Star!

I wish to commend the staff and Martin Bennett on the most efficient way they conducted the sale of my bungalow. The viewings were conducted by Martin and were hassle free. Martin had a very kind reliable manner and instilled confidence that the sale would be completed! The girls in the office were all very supportive during my many telephone enquiries and as selling a property can be quite stressful they provided an excellent "counselling service" lol! I would highly recommend the Auction system (contrary to what some may think of this). It provides a quick secure realistic sale and I was very pleased with the outcome. the worst estate agents i have ever dealt with in 20 years of renting. Never fixed a thing in the property at all. I took time off from work for them to come around for an inspection and they never turned up. This happened 4 times. Very unprofessional and a company who doesn't care at all. Tried to make me pay my deposit twice as the original estates agents never put it in a deposit scheme. Threatened to through me out of my property unless i paid it agin. The property was in Great Hardwood, Blackburn by the way.Instead they are more interested in creating a new logo for their website. NEVER...I repeat NEVER rent a property from them !!!! STAY WELL CLEAR !!!

We recently bought a house through Crown. The staff and especially Steph were helpful throughout the process. They were always available to talk to and very helpful. They were happy to chase up sellers solicitors and even provide more viewings to the property. I would highly recommend Crown for future purchases etc.

I have arranged to view a particular property 3 times. The first appointment slot they had the wrong keys to the property. Secomd appointment slot we were told we could view to suit our time schedule and the appointment slot was booked in for us. However the evening before we we contacted to say that time wasnt available and could we rearrange.. We again have to rearrange for a slot that is not very convient for us. If it wasnt for the fact we are keen to see this property we would avoid using or viewing anymore of these agents properties. The staff are nice on the phones just been messed around too many times sorry!!!!!!!!

Very pleased with the service just had from this letting agent based centrally in blackburn. I'm a landlord with several properties in Lancashire and previously used a Blackburn letting agent that's now closed, so bit of a dilemma who to use when one of my long standing tenants gave notice. Crown were professional and informative and found me a replacement tenant promptly. I would recommend and will be using them again.

Since transferring from a underperforming agent in Oct 2012 to Crown they have gone out of their way to provide an excellent service and clear up issues from the previous Agent.
Anybody looking for a quality Letting Agent should look no further in the Blackburn and Hyndburn area - Recommended.
