We recently bought our house through Eastons and dealt with Lavina. Lavina was incredibly helpful the whole way through and made a stressful situation less stressful. She kept us updated and chased all the relevant parties to help us push the purchase through and was always very helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for all your help, Lavina!... Read more

I've worked with Eastons for over 10 years on an ever increasing scale. I started working with Paul as a landlord to rent out my property, I was blown away by Pauls straight talking approach, and answering the questions honestly, it made me feel like I was in safe experienced hands at something I was very new at.
They then took on the management of the flats that I lived in, and have been professional and made sure, as a director, I was not left liable. We have regular meetings and the residence are very happy with them, and they advise when we should action something. Honest advice, and thats what I need.
Lastly, they recently sold a friends property, which was a difficult sale, and outside of their normal area, but they took it on, again backing up everything with honest advice that you would get after working 10 years with people. Getting the most out of the sale in the interests of both parties.
Whilst businesses and people have busy times, Eastons always do everything they can to help me and anyone I have recommended.... Read more

I can't emphasise enough how professional Eastons have been whilst dealing with my move. Lavina has gone above and beyond to accommodate and sort the whole process. Also I would like to mention Martin who was fantastic, nothing was to much trouble for them even when times where challenging. Thank you for all the hard work. I would recommend them very highly and if I ever moved again they would be my only choice of estate agent. Thanks, Tanya Kasapis... Read more

As many of the other negative reviews, I've had an identical experience. They are also trying to charge me for things that they have not actually had to pay themselves. They insist this is the landlord however the landlord has spoken to me and told me she is not involved in this matter and its completely in the hands of Easton who are emailed over lies after lies.
One example of this is that they are trying to charge me £70 for the "Removal of TV brackets". These TV brackets were not removed, and I actually left them there at the request of the landlord who wanted to keep them on the property.
One of the conditions of me installing them was that i leave them intact when I leave and I used her fitter to install them. All of this was done. I have an email from Easton themselves confirming this, but rather then do their research properly, it seems they have just looked at the check out photos and decided to "make up" costs and deductions to take from me for their own personal gain. As others have said, this is fraudulent behaviour.
Do not use this agency to let your home out or to let from! They can simply not be trusted.
They are also very rude when you disagree with them.... Read more

You need to stop making fraudulent claims against your clients when they decide to move out of your properties.
Fabricated costs to try and keep my deposit money but got caught out!
Very bad. A friend of mine moved into a property after i left it so i was able to see their check in report. They tried to charge me £400 for carpet cleaning 3 small stains (around 1p-2p in size) worse then that they didn't actually clean it. They left it as is and were basically fabricating costs to charge me so they could have a little something for themselves!
They also tried to charge £30 to cut back a small bush which a bi-weekly gardener employed by landlord is supposed to do anyway
and then they tried to charge me £70 for removing tv brackets and filling holes... but they haven't removed them at all! In fact my friend is actually using them for his TVs! The landlord also told me I had to leave them intact as a condition of being allowed to install them as well as using her company. I asked my landlord about this and she informed me the dispute isn't even coming from her and that eastons handle all of it for them, so it is eastons NOT the landlord!!!!
overall they are trying to claim £500 off me for blatantly fabricated claims. I called them out on this as I have written and photo evidence and they decided to refer it to DPS rather then sort it out themselves. They refused to send a list of repairs they had to do with breakdown of costs or receipts. Why? Because they hadn't done any and probably aren't used to being caught out!
I'm so lucky I knew the new tenant or I would have just happily paid and assumed this had been done... Luckily when i told my friend about the charges he urged me to not pay and ask for receipts as he was told by the same agents that they were "sorry" they couldn't get things cleaned before he took over the tenancy!
I wont name any names as they will remove this otherwise, but one woman in my branch who has been emailing me decided to take a very childish hostile tone with me in all of our correspondences as they obviously don't like being challenged and backed into a corner.
I am happily taking this up with the DPS who I hope will see the through these lies they are spewing. I asked my previous landlord about it and she was 'vaguely aware' of the situation but has been on holiday so this is all the agencies doing not my landlords...
If you rent with them, be very careful and ALWAYS challenge them if they try to keep your deposit. Even without evidence the burden of proof lies with them to prove they have done the cleaning... unless they decide to fabricate evidence in my case, they wont be getting away with it.
I left this house in such a great clean condition that they were able to let this out within 3 working days to the new tenant, no cost to them, new tenant is paying same amount I paid and they treat you like this. Trying to rob you blind. Have eyes at the back of your head with these ones... they operate unfairly and slyly!
(Also be aware, they already removed this review once on trustpilot, so they clearly remove all negative reviews they receive so you can't trust their ratings.)... Read more
