The advice and support provided by Edwards Estate Agents Verwood in the sale of our property was excellent. From the initial meeting, Sam was confident in the potential our property was able to achieve with the right marketing and he facilitated a range of marketing initiatives that maximised our properties exposure to the target audience. Angie conducted all of our potential buyer viewings in an enthusiastic and thoroughly professional manner and in a very short time we sold our property.
I would like to thank Sam, Angie and the rest of the team for all their support and for doing a great job in selling our house.

Edwards have just sold my 4 bed house selling a house can be very stressful and we really didn't have much idea of what the process entailed and I told anji this .she I believe went way over her job title to help us along the way the whole team bent over backwards to help us the team now are trying to get us a property thank you so much anji and the team

We required a short tenancy whilst looking for a house to buy. On moving in, whilst most of the property was clean, the windows were filthy, toilets stained, big blobs of filling on the walls which hadn't been sanded, just quickly painted over in a non-matching colour. At the end of our 8 month tenancy, we were buying a house and the owner of the rental had decided to sell so lots of trades visited. The buyers sent a plumber who was shocked at the state of the gas servicing history - he condemned the fire, and said the boiler needed replacing immediately due to lack of proper servicing and problems building. We were accommodating to the trades and the new buyers visiting - however, Anji sent the buyers round without arranging with me and I arrived home to find the front door wide open and Edwards conducting a tour - this was mortifying and upsetting. Edwards persuaded us to move out a day earlier than we had planned so, after our moving day, we had half a day instead of a day and a half to clean where furniture had been etc. After moping, vacuming, wiping down etc. We were then told that they sent a cleaning company in the following day and the charge would be £450. I got the feeling they would have charged this even if we hadn't cleaned ourselves - we weren't told in advance, or given the option to obtain a quote ourselves. Beware. We are currently escalating all our complaints to the ombudsman.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Edwards at all, in fact it was a really distressing one. I ended up having to raise a formal complaint with them to which i received a very abrupt, rude and dismissive response from Grant (MD). I escalated my complaint to The Property Ombudsman in the end who upheld every element of it which was reassuring to know I was in the right and Edwards had let me down multiple times. Be very careful as they will mislead you about your buyer's position and they will give you false information/updates throughout which really handcuff you in terms of sales progress. They also don't keep accurate notes on their systems so it makes it exceptionally difficult for the Ombudsman to review as half of the information is missing when they're asked for it, luckily I had it all on paper myself so i was able to provide it. Very aggressive and unprofessional business. Do speak to The Property Ombudsman as they will get Edwards to pay you compensation so its worth pursuing.

Very aggressive, unclear untruthful and unprofessional. Firstly Anji failed to turn up to a viewing. Then tried to make out that I hadn't been in contact with her regarding an offer after speaking the previous day. I was then told that once I provided the following documents the property would be off the market and secured by myself. I provided the documents the next day as I was told I had 24 hours to do it?!. Once I provided this it wasn't taken off the market, they failed to make contact with our conveyenser or get back to me. I called to find out what the hold up was from their end a few days later, I was greeted with hostility. Anji said "I don't need to deal with this" said we hadn't provided something that hadn't even been requested. They tried to make out we were holding up the sale. Told us at 1800 that we needed to provide the documentation by the next day. Once we provided it we were then told that they had just put forward another offer to the vendor. A very poor experience, would not recommend and will not be using again.

I highly recommend Edward Estates Agents 100%!!! They worked continually on our and others behalf to help our chain finally complete. This wouod not have happened without them. Thank Edwards!!

It has been a few years now since we last moved and although my wife works in the industry i had forgotten how stressful the whole thing can be, but Edwards took care of everything. From offering great advice on price and marketing to finding the right buyer in a minimal amount of viewings. Once we had our buyer Edwards then proceeded to follow the sale process through to exchange and completion keeping us constantly updated. Thank you so much Edward Verwood you were all great .
