We recently completed our purchase of a property put on the market by Goadsby.
The word to describe them is tenacious.
They are persistent in their communications and will not let up in trying to push the sale forward.
They were the biggest driver of all parties in a difficult sale with multiple drop outs. Their strategy clearly works and helped get us over the line.
So 5 stars, having now completed we are left only feeling impressed after seeing the whimpering performance of other estate agents/move managers and would choose to use them if we sold in the future.

Our experience of Goadsby Verwood was exemplary, from the first visit to value the property right through to completion they were always very professional and courteous. Our particular chain involved five properties and as three of them involved private sales we experienced a considerable delay around the Xmas and new year period. David Price from Goadsby made an extra special effort to identify the problem in the chain and helped resolve the delay even though he had no direct responsibility for the private sales; where the problem had occurred. We would recommend Goadsby Verwood as also being better value than their competitors.

Alison clearly had a really good understanding of the local market and the type of property we were selling and showed us the details of a number of similar properties that had sold locally to help us agree a fair value.
Alison found a buyer for the house within two days on the first viewing for an offer very close to the asking price. Following my acceptance of the offer Alison and Sue maintained regular contact and ensured that the sale went through quickly and seamlessly.

Great team, I was buying from Goadsby and, although it was a short chain, it dragged on for a bit through no fault of theirs. Sue was constantly chasing to get it all moved along. On the occasions when Sue was not available I was able to discuss any issues with other team members and they were fully up date with it all.
Lots of regular updates so I knew where we were at and a little injection of humour made the process as painless as possible.

We would like to thank all the team at Goadsby Verwood during the process of purchasing our new home. We initially viewed the property we subsequently bought before our own home went under offer. We were very taken with the house and the location, however it very quickly went under offer to another buyer leaving us disappointed.
We continued our search for another home to no avail. Some weeks down the line we were contacted by Ben who knew we very much liked the house we initially viewed, to inform us that it had now come back on the market. Having seen the property previously we were able to put in an offer which was accepted the same day.We have now been here a week.
Throughout the whole process Nathan, Ben and Sue faciliatated our requests to view the property and to help us with the additional enquiries we had. At all times the entire team were particularly helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were also supported by the team to facilitate a key undertaking with the owners of the property which enabled us to access our new home before exchange of contracts.
Buying a home can be a stressful process, however this was made easier by the professionalism and understanding displayed by Nathan, Ben and Sue. Well done and thank you Goadsby Verwood. You got it just right!

I was impressed by the professionalism of Rob, Sue and Nathan who were always efficient and helpful, promptly answering questions or seeking clarification.
They really stood out as they liaised with mortgage companies, solicitors in relation to probate, Conveyances, Surveyors and all parties involved in the process; to politely hasten the process and this saved me no end of worry. Shall i say they were excellent at friendly chivying and keeping the 'ball rolling'.
Having bought and sold 6 times over the decades, and so having many past experiences to compare - i can say that they stood head and shoulders above all previous experiences.
If I'm ever minded to sell i will engage Goadsby Verwood.
Their friendly assistance and thoughtfulness i received throughout the period was continued once i moved into this friendly town by many organisations and the Local Authority - so i am unlikely to be requiring their 'Selling Skills' for sometime!
I was delighted to see their success in a survey of all Estate Agents countrywide - thoroughly deserved.

Rob Ward and his team were absolutely excellent. Having previously marketed our home unsuccessfully with two other local agents, we wish in hindsight that we had instructed Rob in the first instance and we have to say that Sue Gardiner, their in house Sales Progressor, is worth the equivalent of three solicitors. I would highly recommend anyone looking to sell their property in Verwood to consider using Goadsby. It does not surprise me in the least to see they have been ranked the 19th Best Sales Agent in the UK in Rightmoves Best Estate Agent Guide. Well done Goadsby, keep up the good work.
