When selecting an Estate Agent to sell your home many people consider the fees and perhaps unrealistic promises of the value that will be achieved.
Irvings is different.
We sold to downsize and took a rental property whilst searching for our next, more manageable, home. During the period from August '23 to March '24 we encountered many Estate Agencies, large and small, in our searches. All of them had one marketing strategy, list property on RightMove and wait for interested buyers. An entirely passive approach that provided almost no support to sellers or buyers.

We have just purchased a property through Irving & Sons, and while you would expect a representative who is selling you anything to always be pleasant and helpful, Clare has gone above and beyond, in order to ensure that the sale, which had quite a long chain, went through. I would stress that she was not OUR agent, but that of the vendor, and yet she still kept us informed of what was going on in the background, on a regular basis. We have been so impressed with the whole team at Irving and sons, very professional, but with warmth, patience, humour, and such understanding of our difficult situation and treating us with such kindness and sensitivity. When I rang feeling rather stressed I was greeted with "what can we do to help" by Sarah, just what I needed to hear. As for Claire Wright, what a super lady who has always gone the extra mile for us, as I'm sure she does for everyone, her ability to get things done, nothing is too much trouble and her sense of humour and friendliness has made our move a fairly stress free and relatively pleasant one.
