Absolutely dreadful company - despite my son moving out of his property on 2nd Oct they have still not paid back the deposit - albeit with some deductions, which i accept.
They will not deal with me as I’m not on the tenancy despite me being guarantor, paying the deposit and the monthly rent.
My son has emailed and they have not returned his emails.
Steer clear of this managing agents they will find any excuse to with hold deposits

Having struggled a little to find new tenants for our commercial property, Eightfold were recommended to us by a client. Max was knowledgeable and efficient and found us a tenant quickly. I would recommend Max without hesitation.

Great communication, amazing service and so professional team. The first communication was with Robert who did us excellent job of buying our property. Robert was patient, supportive, helpful and highly experienced.
Robert highly recommended Dan to manage the property which is so helpful as he is an expert and knows what he is doing. Also we had lots of help from Charlie and Kyle. They did a great job for us.
Lots of thanks for all the team. We are grateful and appreciate what they did for us.

Hi Dan,
It's been 2 weeks since gave you notice on the 3 flats that you've been managing on my behalf and to date I've yet to receive back signed confirmation of notice and the information requested on flat 2 section 21 notice plus outstanding information on flats 5 and flat 7.
Please advise when I am likely to get this documentation.

Eightfold have managed our rental properties for many years. Given their excellent property management services when it came time to sell a property we tasked them with the process. Robert, Dan and the team did a great job, they know the Brighton and HMO markets like the back of their hands and can be trusted in every step of the process.

I had a very short space between the property being available and move in date and as such, there were a few bits and pieces that required fixing or attention (including a fence panel, the shower etc) which were addressed and FIXED (!!) very promptly and efficiently by the contractors and the contractors in attendance have all been great. Very knowledgeable, friendly and provided solutions. I was expecting a lot of push back or dragging of heels which has not been the case at all. During the actual process of getting the tenancy in place, all staff I have met or spoken with have been incredibly helpful (credit checking, viewing of the property, the accounting team and contracts etc) and it has been very reassuring and made a, usually very stressful process, smooth and easy... and then the only stress I have had is the fun of actually moving itself. All in all, a great experience so far...

House sale - we used Eightfold to sell our property, as they were our managing agents when we were letting the property and they knew the house. We were very happy with their service, Robert ensured that we were kept informed at each stage of the process and went above and beyond to get the sale completed.
They were professional and helpful and we would definitely recommend their service.

I am a student in brighton looking for accommodation and this review is a warning to other students or those looking to rent that Eightfold is not worth the trouble. Finding a house is no easy feat and when met with behaviours such as those demonstrated by the Director of Eightfold it becomes all the more difficult. In the beginning communications where positive and we were hopeful this was the house for us, however, as soon as interest was shown in the property emails and communications from the agency ceased. A little disheartened we, in a polite manner, continued to contact the agency trying to find out if the property was still available. In return we received many unwarranted, unprofessional and outright rude emails from Dan the companies director many of which were personal attacks and sarcastic remarks. In light of this I have read some other reviews and found many others have received the same treatment, so please to save yourself some time and grief use an alternative agency.
